The Lost City was pretty bad, IMO. Like a 5/10 version of Romancing the Stone (10/10)

Really? I loved the remake of Robocop.Really enjoyed S1 of The Killing, going right into S2 next.
Joel Kinnaman really shines in this, he's turning out to be much better actor then I initially thought.
The Robocop remake was terrible for him.
Robcop isn't a movie that needed remaking, it's a 80's classic can't be replicated or redone, so memoriable nothing else can compare. 🤷♂️Really? I loved the remake of Robocop.
I have to watch it to judge since I since I saw the original 10s upon 10s of times as a kid because my parents had the black box which included every showing of PPV movies.Robcop isn't a movie that needed remaking, it's a 80's classic can't be replicated or redone, so memoriable nothing else can compare. 🤷♂️
Clarksons Farm Season 2, absolutely fantastic show!
The Lost City was pretty bad
I got to say I never in a million years thought they would have expanded this idea as much as they have done. Several films later and now a TV series, it’s being milked as much as possible. But people must enjoy it, I’ve seen a couple of the films and they are a bit meh to me, pretty much the exact same thing repeated.Just got Hulu, so I started watching The Purge, which expands upon the lore of the feature films. So far it's pretty stupid, but we'll see where it goes.

What's everyone's opinion of "The Last Of Us"? I am liking it so far, even though I never played the game.
I generally do not like the zombie stuff and post apocalyptic settings, but I somehow managed to put that aside for this one.
This series must be one you have to watch to get it, as from the description it seems kinda creepish, and not something I would be interested it.I watched Season 1 of this over the weekend. I liked it quite a bit:

He's a donkey, but the show has been enjoyable, if only to learn something about farming.
There should be more Charlie Ireland's in the world.
I'm jealous! I watched all 11 seasons of it and still want more! Numerous spinoffs are coming, hopefully they're as good. Fear the Walking Dead is pretty good too.It took me long enough to start, but I’m watching The Walking Dead and I can’t get enough of it.
Started to watch the reboot of Quantum Leap last night. It was late and only got through part of the first episode, but liked what I saw.
He’s a reckless goon for the sake of being a reckless goon, however the show has such wonderful warm characters in the other people it more than makes up for it. And it really does highlight the problems farmers have, and it’s beautifully shot, the wildlife you see is amazing.
I can fully understand why the locals dislike him, they want a quiet village and his shop has probably caused thousands of extra cars every year travelling through it. But the biggest issues are the car park, and traffic control. They really should have let Jeremy build a proper car park and maintain it.
Reality shows are still heavily scripted entertainment, and often rely on contrived drama, so not everything should be taken at face value, as it's presented on the show.
Little doubt there are some locals who protest just to protest, but there are valid concerns as well.
I read up a little on the situation, and one alternative not mentioned is to build the car park on the other side of the road, on land Clarkson also owns, but supposedly isn't governed by the stricter character preservation rules.
I don't know how true that is, and such a situation would still present issues with traffic control, and a pedestrian crossing would be a liability concern as well.
The road that fronts his farm shop is one of the two routes from Chadlington village to the larger town of Chipping Norton, presumably where people run their errands and do life stuff.
A 3.6 mile, eight minute drive, according to Google, and not exactly where one would expect a traffic jam. The alternate route adds about 1.4 miles and four minutes, so it's not a huge difference either.
The RV park/campground adjacent to the farm shop isn't exactly a paragon of natural beauty, so a car park next to the shop isn't going to upset the balance of nature to any large degree either.
Those have visited characterize it as an expensive, one-and-done, seen-it lark, but that could be said of any farm shop.
Despite the controversy and rumors stemming from his recent column about the non-practicing royals, he confirmed there will be a third season, so I guess even if it eventually might not air on Prime, so we'll see what happens, or not.
I find it to be an enjoyable show, and shall leave it at that.
