I may be doing Stargate Universe in the near future. I wish that this had gone a few more seasons. I do hope that they get a reboot.

I do not want the franchise rebooted, I want them to continue from where everything else stopped; I need to know what happened after Atlantis landed on Earth, and I need to know what happened with the crew of the Destiny, did Eli ever get another cryo pod online...?

The book series covers what happened to Atlantis and the characters after they landed. I do not recall it clearly as I read them some time ago. I was not that much into SGU and did not read any of the books after the series ended. I am not sure that there is an official book storyline to SGU.

I need to go to check if I bought the rest of the books in this series.

The White Lotus

I reactivated my HBO Max subscription to watch this show, and I'm glad I did. I loved Season 1, and now that I'm about halfway through Season 2, I'm thinking it might be even better.
I was blown away by how much I loved The White Lotus.
It's a really cool concept. All these different people at different hotels.
Many episodes have slow periods, then boom, a twist, haha.
Can't wait for an S3.

Jennifer Coolidge won't be in S3.

I enjoyed the intermixing of ocean waves crashing against the rocks - telling of drama to come.

Not sure movies count as binging but watching all Hunger Games movies 4 days straight. Just finished off the second! Somehow I never watched them!! Love Jennifer Lawrence!!!

Just rewatching all of Detectorists back to back. Enjoying it hugely (again). Probably one of my favourite series of all time... (If you want to understand England just watch this and it will be all you ever need to know.)

Binging samples only allowed

Believe it or not, I have missed on The Wire, and now I'm playing 'catch up', fortunately on the HD remastered versions.

The Mando, Locke and Key, The Detectorists, Carnival Row, Wheel of Time, Ted Lasso, Foundation (can't wait for the next series of the last 2)....

Wow.. I don't know if I can see The Cat from Red Dwarf in a serious/suspenseful role! I'll keep thinking "Where's Rimmer and Lister!?" and waiting for a smeghead reference! 😁
Oh smeg! I didn't know Duane Dibbley was on the show.🤩 I caught a glimpses of that show on PBS from time to time. The next time it's on, I'm going to have to watch a full episode.

Lol, never watch Red Dwarf, but I looked it up, and the actor is great in Death in Paradise, and his character is more of a comedic relief type then serious.

The characters that Danny John-Jules plays in Red Dwarf and Death in Paradise are so different you wouldn't think it was the same actor. As well, quite some time has passed between his playing the two roles so he looks (and sounds) quite different in each.

However, Death in Paradise is well worth the watching, with good acting, an interestingly diverse cast, clever plots, little to no blood 'n' gore and no offensive language, so it is quite suitable for the younger audience, while being satisfying to the adults.

I get the impression that many British actors are lining up to do at least one episode, as it means a month away on a Caribbean island, and getting paid for it.

Like Silent Witness, it is compulsory viewing in our household.

Waiting for Miriam Margoyles to make it to an episode.. Imagine the hilarity ensuing when her and Danny go at it! He's a character, and she has no filter!

I mean Danny John-Jules played an evolved cat for heaven's sake...of course it would be different. :p Death in Paradise sounds interesting.
