I like it but it is beginning to reach its limit with me...

Slow Horses was pretty damn good again.

What is beginning to reach it's limit? Monarch? Ok took me a second to see you highlighted Monarch in my list. I assume that's what you were referring to.
Slow Horses looks like it might be good. I'll have to add that to my list.

Yes, Monarch.

I have very little patience for soap operas/cliff hangers.

I need resolution and I don't feel like this one is going to do that...

That's the great thing about Stranger Things. Each season has a beginning, middle, and end.

Started watching 1899 on Netflix. It is a German series that feels very similar to Lost. Except it take place on an ocean liner in [I bet you could have guessed] 1899. So far it is fairly intriguing but I anticipate I might ultimately be disappointed since it was cancelled after just one season

Just finished 1883... WOW. What a great freaking show! Getting ready to start 1923 next. There are so many good characters and by the end, good lord. All I can say, is I am glad to not have lived back then.

.. a 'wow' from me as well. I watched the final episode yesterday evening, and was totally taken away, and captured by the ending. A fine series, in all respects.

In process or recently finished:
  1. Suits, seasons 1-8 on Netflix, probably have to buy the 9th final season to watch it.
  2. Fool me once, because Harlan Coben. This was far better than expected, probably could have been condensed an episode or two, but enjoyable and its star Michelle Keegan was incredible as a no-nonsense ex-Army pilot and action hero here.
  3. Reacher, because Lee Child.
  4. Money Heist: Berlin, not the excellence of Money Heist‘s two seasons but a fair follow-on that is actually a prequel. The lead male role was more than a tad over-the-top, and the female lead Camille was far from the sharpest knife in the drawer, and the sub-teams kept trying to out-do dumb and dumber. On the brighter side, the heist itself was fairly clever though not up to the standards of the earlier works. And Alicia’s back!
  5. Obliterated because who doesn’t want to vaporize Las Vegas. With a nuke. In a briefcase. That’s empty.
  6. Loudermilk season 3. Wish there was more music given the lead is an ex music critic, and I’d like to know how to pronounce Anja Savcic’s last name. The brilliant one-line zingers that punctuated the first season appear toned down unfortunately but there are a few and they are priceless.
  7. Six Feet Under now nearing the end of Season 2. May not make it to the end of this season let alone try the following ones. For us, we’ve yet to find one single not unpleasant character in the saga. I know the fam business is a funeral home but damn these are miserable people. All of them. Each and every one of them. Including the infants.

I have been watching five short episodes per week of two anime Chinese shows, at "viki.com":

a. A will Eternal. Five or six 15-minute episodes per week.
b. Soul land. Five or six 15-minute episodes per week.

Just finished 1923... Come on man! You can't leave us on three cliff hangers like that! LOL... I haven't heard if there is going to be a season two or not... I am assuming it is coming, but haven't heard.

It was good... I like 1883 better... but this one is good!!! I actually thought Helen was a standout in this one. Harrison was good, but Helen... was really good.

.. Doc Martin .. a BBC production -- the complete series (plus extras) just recently released on dvd by Acorn Video. Had viewed some earlier series, and now re-watching them, plus looking forward to first viewings of the rest. A wonderful British comedy/drama, and so far, it has not failed to capture us.

Loved iZombie... We could tell when the writers were given what appeared to us, a last minute, you have been renewed for another season! And the "oh sh*t" moment we have to come up with something lol.

Earlier this week I finished Fringe and started a rewatch of Resident Alien to get ready for the new season. Almost done with Season 1 and going to try to get Season 2 done in the next few weeks.

I have to say I'm not really liking Resident Alien Season 1 as much as I did before. Maybe it's knowing what the series became in Season 2 (And I'm seeing some of that in Season 1) but these characters aren't very likeable and I wonder if maybe Season 3 should be it's last.
