Even your "better" map is outdated. Indiana officially observes daylight savings time now. I'm going to school in Michigan just north of South Bend, IN. My wife works at a hospital there and when they had to change their clocks for the first time in 30 some years, she was flooded with questions on how to change the time on stuff and if they "had to get up at 3:00 AM to change the clock".

So what was Indiana's reasoning for not following daylight savings time, Was it just public outcry or they never bothered to change the law?

They must have... but it was weird hearing about the whole ordeal on the news. One kid made a ton of money changing people's clocks (VCRs, microwaves, cars...) because so many people didn't know how to change them. I think he charged a few bucks per clock and ended up making like a thousand dollars or something...

I live in the origional time zone, GMT, the timezone from where all other time is calculated. My Sister in law used to live in Greenwich the exact place time is calculated from.

however... i'm going to florida in march to see the giant mouse, so from march 8th - 24th I'll be on eastern. YEY I get to have jet lag woooh!!!
