Then why did you post.
So what was Indiana's reasoning for not following daylight savings time, Was it just public outcry or they never bothered to change the law?Even your "better" map is outdated. Indiana officially observes daylight savings time now. I'm going to school in Michigan just north of South Bend, IN. My wife works at a hospital there and when they had to change their clocks for the first time in 30 some years, she was flooded with questions on how to change the time on stuff and if they "had to get up at 3:00 AM to change the clock".

The Indiana time zone debate remains controversial, with many arguing for the entire state to be on Central Time or for the state to return to the non-observance of DST. This controversy springs from the fact that not only is Indiana largely an agricultural state, but it is also divided between the Eastern and Central time zones, and includes suburbs of cities in other states in both zones

Don't they know that everyone else is changing.Opponents of DST claim that daylight saving time creates costs and inconvenience associated with changing clocks twice a year, and has little or no real value

Give us a break...us lazy Californians are just waking up. At best, some of us are returning from an early stroll on the beach with mimosas.
I live in the origional time zone, GMT, the timezone from where all other time is calculated. My Sister in law used to live in Greenwich the exact place time is calculated from.
however... i'm going to florida in march to see the giant mouse, so from march 8th - 24th I'll be on eastern. YEY I get to have jet lag woooh!!!
