Because of the similar threads "feature" at the bottom of the page, and how it displays very old threads for example right now I see this thread from 2003 linked at the bottom of the page.

True, but the OP's original text doesn't.

We're sensitive about that out here.

Even B&H's site says "Free US shipping," but when you go to check out, it's not free to HI. They are hardly the only ones.

We have people routinely saying, "I'm visiting from America," and ignorant things like that. I can't count the number of times I've heard people say things like, "I'm going back to the states next week."

I'm afraid I've come off as an old curmudgeon. It amused me to complain (and I didn't notice how old the poll was), nothing more (except for that part about how we're sensitive out here). If the OP comes back to edit an 8 year old poll . . . well, good for Stridder44, the OP.
