On all my macs I use Chromium, and I am very happy about it. I also use AdBlock extension. I have tried Chrome, FireFox, Opera, all uninstalled after a while. I have chosen Chromium over Google Chrome, because of Google spy addons in their browser. Safari is secondary browser, but I almost never use it.

Safari, started using it after upgrading to Lion and have since stuck with it. Really quite like it now :)

Safari's my main browser, but I do go back to the nightly version of firefox(v11 atm) every now and then. (It doesn't use the discrete GPU in my MBP like the stable release v8 does for some reason.)

I used firefox more often in snow leopard, but now since safari has all the great gestures and so on in lion it's a better choice for me, especially since firefox has still not added proper support for lion's full screen and scroll bars.

I once tried chrome but I absolutely despise it's UI for some reason. Opera is a good browser too, but its a little messy and confusing because of all the options it has.

I love when people waste time to try and spite someone instead of actually answering the question -
I didn't waste time.
I didn't "spite" anyone.
I posted relevant links, which answer the question better than simply posting one opinion.
You're wasting time by commenting on them.

I have Safari, Firefox and Chrome on my MBP. Firefox gets used the most, I use Safari once in a while, and hardly ever touch Chrome. They all have features that I like, and some I don't like.

If I could customize my own browser it would have Chromes URL/Search bar, Firefox's bookmarks (can right click and click open in new tab, if there is a way to do it in Safari, I haven't found it) and the location of the bookmarks list, and Safaris speed...it runs the best on my MBP, but there are things it doesn't have that I find myself wanting. Like highlight click and drag to the search bar, can click and drag but it doesn't go to the search bar, or highlighting a URL in a page and clicking "open url in new tab" If there are ways to get Safari to do these things, please tell me. I would rather use it than Firefox.

I use Firefox on my Win7 desktop, which works great.

Safari is a POS, but I put up with it anyway.

Firefox doesn't have the compatibility problems plagued with Safari, but I find it slow.

i guess it depends on the user and the loyalty to a certain browser

during my PC days I found Firefox and Chrome much better than Internet Explorer, but since using a MBP I dont see much difference from Safari and Firefox or Chrome

Since i got use to some of the gestures in Safari ive always reverted back to Safari everytime ive tried the other 2 for a bit

Personally I use Safari. My most recent trial of another browser was Chrome and that went well. I still miss some things, especially the Omnibar, but Safari Omnibar tides me over.

I see the disadvantages of Safari, but it is beautiful, fits in with the OS (e.g. the pop out downloads list) and supports Reading List.

Oh, come on. It's one thing to be paranoid of Google products but it's another to actually claim that Chrome has "spy addons".

and I'm a Chromium user myself.

Chrome here. I like how you can do searches from the address bar. The sync. And a few other things.

The day Chrome gets rid of favicons on the bookmarks toolbar is the day I switch to Chrome. They're ugly and take up too much space. Until then I'll use Safari.

I'd love to use safari, but I'm under the impression that chrome handles flash content better and honestly, I really don't know how some of you guys use the web in this day and age without dealing with flash content for not just stuff that you can sacrifice like youtube or any other social media but for actual necessary stuff required for education and professional life.

Google Chrome for Icefilms streaming.
Safari for everything else.

Same for my old MBP, my current Air, my wife's iMac....I have to admit Apple has improved Safari leaps and bounds from what it used to be.

I use Safari for almost all of my browsing as some plug-ins do not work with Safari or Chrome, so I had to use Firefox. I use Chrome on Windows, so I have a lot of bookmarks and stuff there too, but you can't import them on Safari (you probably can, but I can't be bothered to find a way)
So in the order of most use
Safari
Chrome
Firefox

chrome is the way. Ever since firefox became 'mainstream' and slowed down from its greatness when it was a 0.9 beta, chrome has been the fastest and my preferred browser (not to mention the bookmark syncing across all my machines is the greatest thing invented since sliced bread)

I used to use Safari and Chrome(for flash) but now I just use Chrome because it doesn't hang or crash like Safari seems to do once or twice a day. Also I little while ago I heard some security thing being patched up on safari and someone commented that Chrome had patched that up 1 month prior. So I feel safer on Chrome as well.
