I had black iPhone 4, and now I have iPhone 5s with white - and iPads were both white. No regrets.
They do not discolor, and it doesn't distract when watching media, etc.

I've traditionally been a black bezel kinda guy, and had a black 3GS & 4S.

I went white for the 5S, silver; for a change of pace and to try it. I LOVED IT. After a very short time, your eyes tune out the white bezel. And it's a sharp looking phone! And I think white bezel blends in best for iOS's white theme.

I did just pre-order the space gray 6S PLUS. Just because I wanted another change of pace, not because I disliked the white one bit. I do like the look of seeing nothing but the screen, so I'm giving that another shot.

You should try white.

I would love the gold version but the white bezel is a dealbreaker so when/if I get the 6S then it's going to be the one with the black front. Did the same thing with my iPad Air 2, the black just looks better - it blends better with the display and offers increased contrast.

IMO all the colors would look better with the contrast provided by the black front.
