Me neither. The OP needs to attach another photo. The one now is too magnified to tell which is what.

There's a reason why the picture is close up -__-....... if its taken from too far, it's(the issue) not visible in the picture, but since you seem like you know how to help, I'll give you your request, in THIS picture you may not be able to see the issue, but in person you can tell whether its in your face, or 7 feet away.

I have experienced the same issues. It appears to be slight chipping just near the bezel. I have actually seen it on two different iPads now!

Finally, someone who doesn't have a snide comment 0.o!

I knew mine could not be the only one with that issue >.<!

1. take microfiber cloth.
2. wipe in a parallel way the edge of "peeled paint" area.
3. Profit!

Looks like just some dirt you need to wipe away.

I do not have 20/20 but even I can tell it's the front of the iPad, if you can't tell the front of an iPad from the back you need some ophthalmological assistance;)

Yeah, but in the photo on the first post an ipad with a black bezel is shown. When I look at the photo, it looks like its white underneath and black paint is chipping off.

I've got a similar crack in the paint on my white iPad. Today is my last day to return it I think but I don't want to. However this cracking isn't making me too happy.

OP did you get yours replaced?

Jeez, there's some really dumb posts on this thread.

I can see your frustration OP and the glass bezel should prevent this. On my White iPad the thin rim surrounding the bezel is ever so slightly loose, perhaps some dirt or grit might get in there. It's very minor so I'm not going to take it back.

Yours seems a reasonable reason for apple to replace it.
