White iPhone 4 Cancelled, Now What? - Poll

After waiting patiently 4 moths and 3 weeks for the white iPhone 4 to come, only to realize that Apple is not gonna give it to me 🙂mad🙂 I say "***** you Apple for forcing me to buy the black one!!"

Believe it or not, color of the device does matter for some consumers and I'm one of those people. So, now only cos I cant buy the color I want, I'm gonna buy the black Iphone 4 next week. Why wont I wait anymore? cos' only my addiction for gadgets is greater than my desire for a specific color 😛 and I have waited enough to get my very first iPhone!!

I have a new golden rule: if Apple is offering the new iPhone in more that one color, but only one color is available on launch day...don't wait, don't hold your breath, don't wish for it, just buy the damn black one 🙄

Since the recent reports have surfaced that Apple is not only delaying the white iPhone 4 until Spring 2011, but now has officially taken it off of it's website, I wanted to create a poll to see how many people will not buy an iPhone 4 this year. I know it's just a color, but some people won't buy an expensive product until they are 100% satisfied and color is an important factor. So let's see the results.

I waited until August to see if Apple would release the white iPhone 4. When their press release came out stating the white iPhone was being delayed until late 2010, I gave in and purchased the black iPhone 4. After reading about this news, my only regret is that I didn't purchase the black iPhone 4 sooner.

I think a lot of people waiting on the white iPhone now feel this way.

My advice: If you want an iPhone, get one. Then get a case that you like best in whatever color you like best. It needs a case anyway, particularly to address that antenna issue. Don't worry about the color of the phone beneath. Get a black iPhone and enjoy it thoroughly.

The "Now, what," question is for the consumers that have held off purchasing an iPhone 4 because they wanted the white version. "Now, what" are they going to do, hold off for the iPhone 4, or swallow their patience pride and get a black iPhone 4.

No carriers in US allow you to upgrade your phone after 6-7 months from your last upgrade.

Not true. I started my att account with the 3gs back in November 09 and was allowed to upgrade to the iphone 4 for two hundred dollars. It depends on whether you pay over a hundred dollars for your line.

We pay 140 for our two lines (one bill). I think we will be able to upgrade at some discount. It will be close to 8 months until the 5 comes out, so I should be fine.

It's not like the white ip4 was a rumor. A finished product was presented to the public. I am patient and do not mind waiting for the exact product I want as long as there is reason to believe it is eventually going to be released (which there was).

I am not upset that I can't get it now, just a little dissapointed.

The only reason I feel like a "sucker" is because I am responding to an obvious troll.

I bought a black one once I heard it had been delayed to "the end of the year", and am very glad now that it appears to be canned.

However, I am holding out for a white iPhone 5 in June/July, and if there is one, I'll probably upgrade.

Has there actually been a definitive statement that the white iphone has been cancelled? Granted, I'm not fond of the color, but I find it interesting that people have inferred that a cancellation is imminent.

Brought my 16gb black iPhone lastight 🙂 its fab and vie ordered my case a hello kitty one lol whit whoooooo - I had the money waiting and i don't know if i can afford it next year as i am off travelling to oz so no point in waiting 🙂
