For the hell of it, i went into the ATT Store to ask the guy about it and i told him the problem about the iphones having a little bit of a different color tone and explained mine looks yellowish and warm colored, he suggested it was the "Factory Film Protector" that i left on my iphone that caused it, and he pulled it up and was like, removing that would work and it still looks yellow when lifted. Maybe just doesnt know anything about it or never heard of it..

I guess ill have to try a different store and see what they suggest. The Yellowish is kinda annoying me now.

I know what you mean! I got the white iPhone a few days ago. I don't think it's actually "yellow" but the colors are just not as cool. They appear warmer so that the blues and greys aren't as dark. I think it's just kind of bugging me since the older generation iPhones I had were on the cooler side. However, you can't deny how awesome the retina screen is. I too have the factory film on, it does help a tiny bit when you lift it off, since it has this weird rainbow/reflective tint on it. I'm going to the apple store tomorrow and comparing it with their demo white iPhones.

Btw, I hear that this slightly warmer panel are in the newer iPhones? Perhaps apple switched their panel manufacturers?

Apple has always stated that they deliberately switched to warmer tones for their displays. Because it's supposedly easier on the eyes. But it does beg the question why not warm colours across the board? why are some displays calibrated towards the bluer side of the spectrum?

Also why do i have the sneaking suspicion Apple will use displays that are inferior to the current generation in iPhone 5.

Definitely yellow here! Not nice at all - and peobably made worse by the White fascia of the phone to contrast against
