Am I the only one that thinks Apple missed an opportunity to add more colors for this new generation iPhone 5?!?

They should've had colors like they do with the new iPod Touch line up! A color for everyone's tastes!

I don't see either color gender oriented. I couldn't say, in good conscience, that the Apple store (being mostly white) is girly. Doesn't make sense.

Ah, didn't notice ur were from Philly. My iPhone is on AT&T and my iPad on VZW. So my iPad has LTE and my new iPhone will have it once AT&T rolls out in Philly which will be before years end for sure. So no problem waiting. I was gonna switch to VZW for LTE , but I've been with AT&T since the Cingular days and I have unlimited data and since I've never been late on a bill in over 7+ years, they treat me pretty good. Not worth starting over for LTE. AT&T will likely be faster then VZW anyway, so I am pumped to get it, but like i said, not a feature that couldn't do without. I get consistent 4-5mps down via hspa+ so it's not like I'm on EDGE or have a really slow connection. It'll be here before I know it. Actually, I'm gonna check and see if there are any updates on AT&T. Haven't checked in a while.

I live in the Philly suburbs. AT&T rolled out LTE in Philly this past weekend. Here is a comparison of Verizon's and AT&T's LTE networks in the same area of the suburbs. I tested AT&T with my iPad 3, and Verizon on an Android device. AT&T was on fire and should be just as fast with the iPhone 5.

There are more people using the LTE network on Verizon that is why. Once AT&T gets more phones and users on the LTE network, you'll see the 10mbps speeds.

I said it in another thread I don't like the white because of the black bar on the outside of the screen, it's not noticeable on the black but once you see it on the white you will not be able to ignore it.

Since I'm cancelling the 16gb pre order and getting a 32gb some day, I can see more pics when the phone comes out.

Better yet, go to a retail store that carries it. Like that you can be absolutely sure.

Maybe yes or maybe not... but if people you met and people you know...majority of girls got white iphone. Then that is where your good conscience comes from. It really depends on people around you. Maybe in your circle of people majority of guys uses white iPhone. Who knows?

Got the white 4 on launch then the white 4S... Pretty sick of the asymmetry. Going with that sexy black. Plus, you can get a colored iPod touch with a symmetrical white face. Best of both worlds.

I completely agree, I see too many girls with white iPhones which is why I went with the black.

I've only had black iPhones and will continue to until they don't make a black one. The phone just looks awful when the screen is off.

turn your phone the other way. then you can admire the raw aluminium with white ceramic glass. thats what i plan to do

I bought a 4S off contract about 9 months ago (knowing I would upgrade to the 5 on contract) and purchased a 16GB to save some money since they were relatively new at the time.

I love having a large amount of music on my phone at all times and that 16GB was an utter annoyance. Constantly running out of space made me feel like it was 2005 again. I couldn't wait to sell it. 64GB Black is on the way

Same here! Really excited, I've had two black iPhones, which is the primary reason I switched over.

Both look absolutely fantastic, though. Little over an hour left on the embargo!

I'm still on the fence whether to get the black or white. I am leaning towards the white after looking at the unboxing of the 5, but I'll probably wait until Apple Stores have them to see each one in person.
