White iPhone 5 Unboxing

It has been stated numerous times that the plastic protection was still on the iPhone causing all of those fingerprints.
To be fair, the unboxing photos in the OP's link still have the plastic wrap on them.
With that said, I ordered the white because I'm tired of the constant nag of finger prints on my black 4s.
Different strokes for different folks. I really dig the raw aluminum look. It will be consistent with my MacBook Air now.
I ordered black. Have had my white 4s and ready for a change. Plus the black one looks great. Wish there were better pics on that link but videos and other pics show the black one to be pretty nice too.

I'm glad I want with black but I have a feeling since white just uses the aluminum's normal color on the back rather than anodizing it it will not scratch as easy or have the color rub off and look faded so they probably if taken care of will look better used than the black ones will

Doesn't matter whether it was protected by plastic or not. All of my other iPhones where Black except for my White 4S that I got 3 weeks ago. Every one of them was a fingerprint magnet except for this White 4S. The Black iPhone 5 isn't going to be any different, and will still show a ton of fingerprints. It's just one of those things that goes along with the Black model.
Even though I'm keeping my 4S til next year, the 5 looks beautiful. My 4S is white. I think the 4S looks 2x as good in white, but I really can't decide which 5 I would get if I were upgrading. They both look so good. I can't wait to check out my roommates 5 on Friday.

Same here! Really excited, I've had two black iPhones, which is the primary reason I switched over.
Both look absolutely fantastic, though. Little over an hour left on the embargo!

Me too. I didn't like the clash of silver and white on the back. Don't get me wrong, it still looks sweet. I just think the black looks so much sleeker.
The white does look sexy, but it reminds me too much of every dumb teenager out there with a white 4S...

Duh..the back is covered in its plastic, protective film. You can't see that in the photo? The black aluminum won't be bad with fingerprints at all. 1000 times better then the 4S, which didn't really bother me either. The black/slate combo looks really sweet. Just sleek and fast looking.
I chose white and definitely don't regret it now that I've seen these pictures. Tbh, the black looks much worse than I expected.
The pictures of the black one show fingerprints because there is still the plastic film on the back. If anything, the aluminum on the white will show fingerprints worse.

If you happened to read my post at all, you would have seen that I was also talking about the front, which will be the same as the 4S as far as fingerprints goes. Now, don't go getting your panties into a wad over my "opinion", use whichever one you like, doesn't make any difference to me.
