Where can we find cases for our black unicorns?
The grooves on the horn is totally un-Unicorn. That is definitely not the final unicorn design.
Would of thought so! If they have white phones i guess no pre orders because of very very limited stock!
My hope is that before the end of the day we will get definitive confirmation of Apple retail stores having at least a limited stock of the white model.
I really want to hear something today also but your hopes will be in vain most likely. I don't believe apple has the decency to let us know.
Was in town earlier and called in the O2 store to ask if the white would be available and their exact words were "We don't know, we don't even get them delivered until tonight and we still haven't actually been told what will be coming". Then went to the Apple retail store to see if they knew anything, spoke to the manager to ask what the chances of ANY store having white ones and his words were "Zero chance. No one will have them, not even us".
Unfortunately apple store employees, including managers don't know more than the public does (until they receive all shipment) and even then they wouldn't reveal anything unless it is revealed on apple.com.
Clearly the next course of action is to steal a van, intercept a delivery to one of the stores and we'll have all the phones we could want!
This time next week it'll all be over and none of this will matter....

hmm well it sounds to me like they actually had to physically pull the white inventory at the last minute, using the white boxes for the black phones, also explains the lack of consistency. some people with 32gig and white/black box, some with 32 and the black box, etc.
if i don't hear an update today from apple with some sort of timetable, i will be disappointed. there are going to be TONS of customers at BB who go home with a white box, open it, and find out it's the black phone. smh

Right, that's why the white boxes have black iPhones depicted on them...
We all know how consistent Apple is. It makes no sense for some people to have the same size phone - and the colors of the box to vary. Do you think they made white boxes and just randomly threw phones in there?

Some people have 32 gb - black/black box.
Some have 32 gb - white/black box.
I guess our European fans will be the first to tell us about their white iPhones, if they are there. I'll be up early in the AM to see what news hits the site about these white phones.
I also find it odd that carriers over there have them while AT&T has said "none at launch." I bet they're confused about the two tone box honestly.

I agree completely. The boxes are causing confusion and we should know as soon as 1AM tomorrow if they ever got white iPhones.
If it's true that there's no rhyme or reason to which black phone does or doesn't have a white box...then it makes sense that it was a last minute thing.
