White vs Black: A Great Video About The Pros & Cons.

Really good video review. seriously made me consider white, even though i never even thought once about getting white.
I would assume white since the black's stark contrast would be distracting.
I'm getting white. Looks nicer, cleaner and honestly it's not that distracting at all.
no fingerprints / less visible dust is indeed intriguing.
Besides, i have a white macbook and i'm sporting a white bumper on my iPhone
That's funny you mentioned that: I too have a white MacBook and white bumper on the iPhone. Now the iPad is white. I'm digging the whole set-up. To me, white devices just scream Apple. Apple should make whitey-tighteys

Black is cool, black is 'safe', but black is also generic and boring. Every time I see the white, it looks awesome immediately, without having to convince myself of that.
Maybe it's because I've been starring at a black iPad for the past 11 months, that I find black to be generic, or that everything getting released is also black, but it really doesn't matter to me at least. I love the White.
It's like an ex girlfriend I was with. Not your conventional beauty, but she had something intangible about her, just said 'yes' to me instantly, without me thinking about what it was.[/digress]
At the end of the day, you must follow your heart and go with your gut instinct. If you have to think long and hard about the white, then don't get it, as you're merely trying to convince yourself, and will end up regretting it.

I'd actually go with a white one. But then again, if they're all out of 16gig WiFi models in white on Friday and they happen to have a spare black, i'll consider that fate
what wallpaper/theme are they using on the black one to get that shelf like appearance for the bottom row of icons?
Yep it is...Sorry my bad. Been on a work conference call for the last 4hrs and am half asleep. Stupid me
I had both the black and white and I kept the white. Did extensive test in the day and night with netflix videos, itunes videos, web browsing, e-reading, web browsing, and gameplay. Both were setup the same (same profiles) I see no difference. Luckily I have no backlight issues (first thing I checked when I received both) I chose the white mainly because I couldn't see the fingerprints as well on the bezel and I enjoy the new color tbh it's refreshing. I even went to look at back plate and digitizer replacements for my iPhone, but then I realized I'm going to have sell it soon to get the iP5 so it was kind of pointless. Maybe i'll get a skin.
