they don't bother me.
I can't believe so many people like them! I guess that's why they're still made.
black jelly beans are contraindicated for a lot of medications -- beta blockers, cholesterol pills, coumadin, etc.
i may be in error on the specific medications i listed, but i do know you're not supposed to eat licorice with several types. i was taking something about a year ago and the md told me to stay away from licorice because it would interfere with the absorbtion/elimination of the pills i was on. can't remember the pill (it was probably something for my non-existent memory).
Black licorice and katie ta achoo's thread on fried wheat gluten make me want to puke. 'Scuse me......
some black jellybeans taste like poo.
I don't like jelly beans anymore, but I always hated the black ones. I remember when I was in kindergarden I somehow convinced myself they were poison...![]()
Eeww...licorice!
I don't care for it, but apparently that's because I've only ever had american licorice. I know a girl from Holland who swears up-and-down that REAL licorice comes from Holland and I'd love it if I tried it.
I doubt I'd like it in jelly bean form, either.
Dutch licorice is good, but Italian is better.
Ugh no, licorice. Also disliked are blue and orange.
