I've had it since the 24th and love it. I used to wear watches daily but then stopped probably 8 years ago, only wearing a watch for special occasions when it was more jewelry than watch. So I did have a few days of getting used to something on my wrist again, but now don't even think about it.

I have had no regrets in getting it, and it has increased my activity level enough already that I feel like it's worth the cost. I could have bought an activity tracking device for cheaper, but it wouldn't look this good and so I wouldn't be inclined to wear it every day. I love the look and feel of this thing! And I love the activity rings, they provide a level of encouragement that I wouldn't have believed before. I work at a desk job all day and it's all too easy for me to sit for long periods of time without realizing how much time has passed, so I really like the tap reminders to get up and move.

Love it. I'm the only one I know who has one, but honestly it really integrated into my life so quickly and easily that I would feel weird if I forgot to put it on one morning and left it at home.

Me me me

i LOVE mine. i'm just dining to get more bands though as just having a white SB is driving me nuts. I plan on picking up as soon as they are in store:
- pink,blue,green SB
- black leather loop
- SS link MAYBE, probably get the others first and think about the link after i see more 3rd party bands come out.

Things I love about the watch:
- world clock complication (half my company is in california, half is in china)
- activity tracker, my nike fuel band hasn't been charged since the day i got my apple watch
- heart beat tracking
- FANTASTIC for running with, can quickly glance and check my heartbeat, pace, time, distance, etc without breaking stride using the Nike running app
- notifications
- stopwatch/alarm/timer
- siri
- taking phone calls
- sending quick messages
- hands are free again more often
- i don't obsessively check my phone for wechat/instagram updates as much anymore
- my shoulders, neck, eyes all hurt less because i stare at my phone much less now

things that really need improvement:
- 3rd party apps really suck now. pretty much all of them except nike running
- MORE watch faces please!!! gimme gimme gimme
- MORE 3rd party bands
- MORE complications and 3rd party complications
- let me READ and SEND full emails
- better wechat integration...so it's just as good as the messages integration
- more SIRI functionality
- better stock glance, i need to be able to see all my top holdings quickly not just a single stock silly.

anyways i love it for what it does already, and i find myself wishing it can do MORE MORE MORE MORE. so it's clear that inevitably more and more of your normal iPhone activity will move to the watch, and maybe our phones will get bigger and bigger and replace our laptops.

I kinda do it the other way round - sleep with it on since still usually 50% battery in the evening and have kept my watch on at night for years - charge it in the morning while I grab a coffee then shower / shave etc - by that time fully charged and ready for the day

Wow great thinking. I think I'll adapt this method. Thanks.

Enjoying it, glad I got it, find it quite useful to have the quick glances and activity monitor.

Don't think I love it though. I bought it knowing that it is a fun toy I don't really need...and still feel like I don't need it, just glad I have it.

I stopped wearing watches about 6-7 years ago, and maybe 18 months ago, I thought about getting a new one, until I heard the rumors, then I just waited...

Here's what I love to use on the watch:

1. Different watch faces: At night I like the simple face with no lines, temp and calendar. Very minimalistic, looks nice at night. Daytime I use the utility face with calendar at the bottom, so I can see some detail, activity and temp.

2. Quick messages: I find speaking my texts works very well nearly all of the time, and when it doesn't, I just send it as audio.

3. ApplePay. So easy - just wish the NC SECU would get on board, and a few other merchants.

4. Fitness: I really like the "Stand" feature. I rarely sit all day any more, which I would do quite often before. Now I generally miss only a single hour of standing up and moving around all day!

5. Notifications: so quick and easy to ignore emails that don't need my attention - I really don't fish out my phone much at all during the day.

6. While driving: quick wrist flip to see if there's a text I need to hear, flip back to darken watch, say hey siri to my plugged in phone and it'll read it to me and I can reply if I want. My head stays up the whole time. Very cool.

I know I'm missing some things, but that's what I can think of off the top...

42 MM SS Leather Loop - I got it a week ago today and have been very happy with it overall. Just a few hurdles to get through initially and it's everything I expected to (and Apple promised it would) be.

Unless I'm actively using an app on the iPhone, I have virtually stopped using it for notifications which means the battery is never below 80% at night now. I have yet to see my watch dip below 50%.

Thank you all for taking the time to answer this I really appreciate it.

I've had my SG BSB for two days. Love it. Debating whether to keep or upgrade to a SS BLL which I have on order as a "backup".

I knew going in exactly how I'd use it and how it would benefit me. I did not have excessive expectations that it would be a "mini iPhone" that would do everything the phone does. I know it's a watch first that is also a terrific compliment to the iPhone I already had. I love not having the iPhone nag me with notifications anymore, and instead I get a gentle tap and a quick twist of my wrist displays what the notification is easily and effortlessly.

It's also built beautifully. The case and strap is top-notch, and so is the software. The UI navigation takes a little getting used to, but before you know it it is second nature. Watch a few videos or read their manual, and you'll be set.

I'm the first to tell people it's not for everyone, but it works for me and I think it is amazing.

Also, provided you charge nightly, battery life is a non-issue.

I should mention I started off with OS 1.01 so I was able to avoid experiencing some of the early complaints. I don't rely too heavily on third party apps.

I like it a lot, but I am an Android user at heart. I am not sure how long I can go using my iPhone 5 instead of the Moto X lol.

One of the more moronic comments I've read...

Lamborghini Gallardo's are not heavy on fuel provided you drive it slowly...

You just HAD to come troll in a thread specifically created for people who are happy with their watch...

Well let me troll you back. You have no idea how to use apostrophes.

I'm pumped to get one and was dead set on preordering one but I decided to wait until the next iteration. I think it's an awesome product though!

Only got mine yesterday and I love it already. Feels like it's well built, haptics are great, get a message/e-mail and even if your phone is on your desk it doesn't light up.

So if you are speaking to someone about work you don't get distracted by your phone displaying notifications. It just sits there silently why your watch taps you in a discrete manner. Haptic is very subtle, and you don't hear the taptic engine like you do with normal vibrate motors in phones.

That alone is great for me. I also have a nasty habit of always thinking I have missed notifications, so if I turn round to talk to someone I am always glancing back at my phone on my desk and when I get back to my desk I always check it. No need for that any more.

Also find that even though I always check my phone I still would miss some texts and e-mails if they came in while I was looking away. Won't happen now.

Looks great as well. Definitely worth the wait in my opinion.

I absolutely love mine. Im also really glad I didn't pay for anything more than a Sport. Its fantastic don't get me wrong but the higher priced models are simply not worth the crazy prices.

I'm very happy with my Apple Watch. Haven't felt like it's something that I might not use anymore after a while - which is a good thing of course.

The problem is that a lot people who aren't happy with their Apple Watch, mostly just buy it because they feel like they need it. But it is something totally new. You can't expect the same as you do with the iPhone or iPad: that it accomplishes your day-to-day tasks, and that it fulfills all of your needs. A lot people do not seem to realize that it is just an extension for your phone.

I have to explain that everytime someone tells me the Apple Watch - and any other smartwatch - is useless. I think Apple Watch is a great device that succeeded my expectations from the very beginning. I love it. Not just as a device, but as a comprehensive tool for all-day use that supports my iPhone. The fact it even helps me using my iPhone less than before is a great benefit. :)

No - Siri doesn't talk to you. When I explained my situation, I have the phone plugged in while I'm driving, so I can talk to either the watch or the phone.

The watch screen has to be active for Siri to hear me, so as long as I'm not looking at it "Hey Siri" will be answered by the phone. If I want the watch to answer, I just turn it towards me and talk lower than the music (that is inevitably playing ;-) )

One month in and i am totally sold. Its a great device and well worth the money IMO. Sure there are some obvious improvements and i have no doubt these will come in time, but its core functions (watch, notifications, fitness) are pretty much spot on. Battery is a non issue for me, i use it heavily throughout the day and normally have 30-40% when i go to bed.

100% Love it People can whine and complain all they want but Apple is on to something that others haven't figured out all though they tried. Not perfect but way better than what was out there and will only get better in time. Thanks Apple!

Ok thanks for the clarification.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to explain their thoughts nuts nice to read positives once in a while on these forums.

Honestly sometimes I think apple would be out of business based on "fan" comments about their products here.

My replacement pebble arrived today so it's going on Craigslist I guess.

I e got a minimum of a month I'd think before I'll get mine. Then I'll have to hide it as I bought my girlfriend one. If she sees mine she will know I got her one.

So even after I get it we have to have an affair for a month at least
