Now and then I might pull up the currency converter widget, or something, but the widget I most use is Dashquit, because I don't use widgets enough to justify the RAM usage. Plus, most of the web things the dash does are are pretty quick to pull up in Safari. I mean, how often do you need to check the weather, or you're computer stats? For me, hardly ever.

If anyone has any genuinely useful widgets that justify running them all the time (and using RAM) then I'll be glad to hear it, because the dash seems like it should be useful for something, but for me right now it isn't.

I didn't for a long time, then started for a while, now I don't really anymore. They tend to make the computer really slow and I just find it easier to just avoid it. IMO, most Mac OS X "features" since Jaguar aside from Time Machine I have found to be useless including; Spotlight, Expose, Spaces, Dashboard, and Coverflow. Cute, but not particularly useful to me.

I use some weather applications to check sunrise/sunset times and information on cloud cover, since a hobby of mine is photography. Currency Converter since I don`t live in my home country, and iStat to check processor temperature. All the time! No dictionary because it`s quicker to open through spotlight.

Hrududu, I use Expose to enable my password-protected screensaver when I go away from the computer at work.
