Maybe a new favorite - thought nothing better than PB12"
I have a first gen 867 MHz PB 12". I love that machine. I had the hard drive upgraded so I could keep using it. I still take it with me on vacations sometimes. I am a frequent upgrader, so I have had many Apple machines since then, but always kept using the PB12 for light duty tasks because it seemed like the perfect form factor. My nomination for best Apple ever.
I have a BlackBook, but it wasn't the perfect machine. Missed the lighted keyboard and it always looked filthy - showed every fingerprint.
I am beginning to think my brand new Aluminum MacBook might be the first worthy successor to the PB12. Great form factor, very light and just has that "wonderful feel" in the form factor. Not sure any computer will replace my life long favorite PB12, but this is amazingly close.
