Don't forget that the 3G implemented HSDPA. iPhone 4 implements both HSDPA and HSUPA (faster upload).

i have iPhone 3g and 4 (got yesterday in Australia 😀) never going to get rid of them, now considering buying 1st gen iPhone and try and snatch my mums iPhone 3gs lol

I'm 16, and I've had the original 8gb, 8gb 3G, 16 3GS, and now a 16 4, unfortunately my older brother decided to sell my orig and 3G when he got into drug problems and only have my other two 🙁 would've loved to still have the original 🙁

Wow, those are very expensive kids toys. An unlocked/jailbroken 3GS can go for a few hundred dollars.

I seriously thought about keeping my 3GS to use as basically an iPod Touch, but I found someone in Canada who wanted to buy it because it was unlocked/JB and still on 3.1.2, so I sold it. I then found that I couldn't handle just going with the 4 and then a nano on the dock in the car (if a video comes up in the playlist and I'm sitting in traffic or at a stoplight, it's nice to be able to see it), so I went out and bought a 32GB iPod Touch as well. 🙄

However, I do have a thing for hanging onto old iPods. Four of the five are still actually in use, though. Ones I've had that I've given to friends and family members include a 2nd-gen apple-green mini, whatever the most recent gen pink nano is, a 30GB iPod Video, and a 160GB Classic. I've sold probably half a dozen others on ebay, various models. It's a disease.

I admit I have collected all of them as well. And I will at minimum keep 1 of each model (I actually have 2 3GS's but the box for the other one is in another room). I have actually had many offers to sell my iPhones and have refused every one of them because I want to collect all of them as I don't see myself using anything but an iPhone anytime soon.

OMG I bought a Sega Saturn about two years ago along with Night's into Dreams, Christmas Nights and the special controller. I had seen the game on a podcast and it looked so cool. I never played it - but my daughter did!
