Are you looking forward to the dual lens camera? I am, that and the rumoured Space Black option :)

I'll be picking a 7+ up for my wife; her 6 is having some trouble. I'm fine with my 128GB 6 - no issues with it yet, but if any arise, I will pick up a 7.

you can always stop UPS delivery and request hold for pick up at a UPS Customer Center or have it held at the main UPS location...though last year when I did that, it was like a mini Apple Store in there, still it was only like a 10-15min wait. Surely UPS workers dread iPhone release days.
The guy literally dropped the phones off 7 minutes after I had to go. I'm sure the workers do dread new iPhone releases.

Well since my 5S only lasts 2.5 hours on a charge now it looks like I will be. I never liked the 6/6s design so I was hoping to get another year out of my 5s in the hopes of a redesign but I have to upgrade now.

Yes!! I want to get a new designed one, even the color would be enough I think. And for the dual lens camera, it would be AWESOME and I'm almost sure it's gonna happen.

Have 6, SE size is actually better... If iPhone 7 comes in 3 sizes and one of which is 4". Day 1 for me.

I got my 6S plus on launch day last year and I'm hopping to get the 7 on launch day too. It depends on how the pre-orders go. I want to go for delivery this year not in store pick up.

I also am hoping for shipping option, as i will be on vacation the day it releases. Currently the Apple Upgrade Program is available online so I am hoping it stays that way!!! Now just need to get one pre-ordered and hope my neighbor does a great job at stalking my porch for my phone delivery??

Speaking of that issue.....if I were to snag one on pre-order night, is it an option to have it shipped to another address? Like a family members house?

I always order to have it shipped to me day 1. The exception was for the 4 when I decided to wait in line (largely because of the preorder snafus the morning orders went live that let a huge number of us only "reserve" instead of order outright, but also to have the experience, just once). When my regular UPS guy was on the route, he told me that they had an agreement to attempt to deliver as many as humanly possible by 10 am; after that, they'd stick to the regular routes and deliver them as they came. I got mine right around 10 for a couple of years and then, when he went to a different route or whatever, I started getting them super-late in the afternoon. Waiting is torture!

I posted on page 1 of this thread that I was not going to upgrade, but now that the time is getting closer, I'm pretty sure I'll be in the first minute of ordering.
Yup, can't wait. I love my six, but want to catch up.
I'm not going to sell my 6 this time, I'm keeping it for an iPod.

I will probably get my paws on it after seeing the reviews. I was supposed to get a Note7 but I'm starting to change my mind. I have a Note4 but I now have plenty of reasons not to buy the N7.

I'm still undecided between the normal and plus model. I would prefer the size of the normal one but will probably be influenced by the dual cameras of the + edition

You can always get the battery replaced by Apple and it will be as good as new. I did with my 6 and it's perfect.

Have been buying every generation of the iPhone day 1 since the 4, I think it'll be the same this year.

I'm in the iPhone Upgrade Program, so yes I will. I've just got an iPhone payment built into my budget indefinitely. I hope they send us the new iPhone, and then we can send our old one back in the same box without having to go to a store because I live 120 miles away from the closest store. Does anyone know if this has been detailed yet? We haven't had a new iPhone launch since they created this program.

I'd imagine you return it the same way you received it.

Well, they only had one option at launch: In store. But I think at some point they added online options for the upgrade program, so I'd like to switch to that system instead. I specifically drove all the way to the store on launch day because I wanted to be able to upgrade every year at launch and figured they would make it easier as time goes on. Seems like they did but it would be annoying to be stuck in a loop where I have to drive there every year now that they have online options.

Ya my buddy pointed that out to me last night. I may go that route. We'll see what the 7 ultimately offers but I'm leaning towards the new battery option and upgrading next year as planned.

New battery definitely makes a hell lot of difference.
