Absolutely.

Huge leaps in performance, huge leaps for camera/video, and finally being able to unlock my phone with just a touch (and authorize itunes/appstore downloads with just a touch). It's a no brainer. :)

not huge, but agreed.

I don't see any reasons to upgrade ip5s, however I'm looking forward to upgrade iOS7 :D that should keep me happy for another year ;

Again, I got the feeling it won't be the fastest selling point for iPhone 5s

I am upgrading from a 5 to a 5s, mainly because I want to get one with more storage. I had a 16gb IPhone 5 and I want to upgrade to a 32gb. Also there is an upgrade available on my account and I was able to sell my phone plus some of the accessories that I didn't want anymore and in the end I will make money out of it. My only problem is that I have been without an IPhone for almost a month, so I would really like to get a launch day phone. I may end up having to camp out at a store but even then I don't know if it would be better to go to the Apple store, Sprint store, or a retailer. Wish they would have done pre-orders like last year. :(

we complain there isn't enough time a day to do stuff but ppl camp out for a freaking phone. lmao

Honestly don't fall for the 64 bit line, you'll get a nice boost in performance over the A6 but any of the higher end Snapdragons would most likely wipe the floor with an A7. Not that the iPhone needs or is about raw horsepower.

Quite happy with the iPhone 5, ios 7 will make it feel like a brand new phone.

The 5S looks like a solid update but the days where we get a big leap in technology and features with each iteration are over.

You do know that iOS updates from now on will be 64bit right? Meaning Apple will give charity updates for those legacy iPhone 5 users but eventually will cut them off and simply go 64bit only.

Big leaps in the smartphone world have been gone for at least 3 years already and are never coming back. Anyone who expects those types of jumps in any smartphone is just being foolish.

I am for more storage, but not happy about no preorder. So will probably just get it late, not waiting in line.

When did that ever exist? The original iPhone was a major jump in general, for the world. Then the 3G was a descent jump, but past that, every other year has been an S year now. 3GS, 4S, 5S. Each S year brought an interesting new feature or two, a better camera and better internal specs in essentially the same packaging as the previous generation. This is the 7th flagship iPhone release, and the pattern has been pretty much the same, and again, we're talking 2007-2013, which realistically isn't a great deal of time.

Basically, I just don't know what "days" you're talking about really are. I don't think many people rushed out to buy a 3GS or a 4S if they already had a 3G or 4, because at least here in America, most people only buy every two years. I think that has much to do with Apple's iPhone design model and thinking about mobile devices in general, and honestly, I think it's pretty smart and it's been working out pretty damn well for them.

Actually, I live in a smaller town so "camping out" for a phone really only takes a maximum about 3 hours and Fridays are my day off. Also "we" do not complain about not having enough time in the day. You might do that, but I manage my time well so that I don't have to worry about wasting 3 hours of my day off for a freaking phone. Maybe you should reserve your judgement for someone whose situation you actually know.

Gazelle says my flawless iPhone 5 is worth $350 (64GB).

Still not sure it's worth it though. Especially with no 5S preorders.

Apple will give me $400 (through Power On).
How does Power On pay me?

Looks like a great new phone but only being 1 year in a 2 year contract I don't have the funds. Iphone 5 on ios 7 should work plenty well anyways

I'm leaning towards not getting the 5s. I already have $410 locked in with nextworth.com for my 5, but I'm not sure I want to burn an AT&T device upgrade on this.
