Happy with the iPhone 17 Pro, not happy with the number of issues I’m running into with iOS 26. It feels like one of the least QA’d software releases in a very long time.
Agreed about "the number of issues I’m running into with iOS 26." It pisses me off that Apple forces us to use a dot zero OS when we buy a new phone. Normally I would not touch a dot zero release, because a dot zero is in 2025 reality a beta. Apple should move iOS development to earlier in the year relative to iPhone release dates.

I’m happy with my iPhone 17 Pro Max 2tb purchased last Friday.

I was going to settle on the 1tb but the Apple store only had 2tb in the silver I wanted. That was all they had and it was close enough so I bought it. I did a lot of video the last 20 years and got into it again for one more project and Apple hooked me in with ProRes Raw and Opengate and Apple Log2 and all of that.

With the highest settings you will burn through that 2tb in under 2 hours. Technically you are supposed to use an external SSD but there is a hack with the Final Cut camera app that lets you do that. With an external SSD I had on my Pocket 4K (Samsung T7) I can confirm ProRes Raw does work and soon I’ll try the hack and if it works I’ll never update the app.

It’s in a case that covers everything and a screen protector as this puppy cost me some money. So far so good!

Love my 17 Pro Max! It's a little bit heavier than I would like due to the case I'm using, but after a couple of days I've adjusted to it. Won't be upgrading or changing my phone for a couple years at least, hoping for an iPhone fold at some point.

Love my air, this was the best release in a long long time. I can remember the last couple of years how un-exciting it was picking up my Pro Max, it wore off quickly but not this year, I'm still super excited about the air.

I agree, I'm loving my Air also
Same here. I’ve missed the camera one or two times, the speaker kinda sucks - which is super minimal impact for me. It’s been trade offs I’m willing to accept so far for the great in-hand experience. But I’ll prob upgrade sooner than I otherwise would, assuming the Air improves 1 year from now.

I really hope it isn’t a flash in the pan like the mini and plus was. I’m hooked now.

(Coming from 15 Pro)

I love my space black air, I will probably keep this phone a long time. I really, really, love my jetech case too that was a recommendation of this forum. I never would have known about this brand case but it is really affordable and I think it is the best case you can get. It looks really great and fits perfect.
Pics?

If there's an Air 2 I will definitely upgrade to it. If there isn't, then I will stick with the current Air. If there's a foldable, probably a no as well due to price.

I'm also hooked now!

Now that I have used it for a few days I can say that the i7 Pros' three "fusion" camera system really is a substantially improved camera system for all. The only reasons anyone who does any iPhone photography should not buy the Pro iPhones would be because of cost, or because the thin/light/cutesy of the iPhone Air is more important than image capture to them.

The performance of the newer chip is also clearly noticeable to me.

I love mine.

A friend of mine is having WiFi issues, but other than that he is happy with it.

People always bash new Apple hardware, but I’m happy with my 17 Pro Max.

Anyone else?
2nd full day with my 17 Pro Max and I am incredibly happy with it.
Battery life is significantly better than my 15 PM
Loving the larger and brighter display
iOS 26.1 Beta 1 is performing wonderfully
The faster charging is welcome
The vapour chamber is doing a fantastic job of dissipating the heat and spreading it
Absolutely loving the new design, it truly looks and feels Pro

I am ok with the Air... pretty nice, but not WOW about it nor really satisfied.

I feel the same way... I am contemplating if I should return the Air, since tomorrow will be the 14th day. If a foldable is out, I am not interested since I rarely use my iPads (Pro & Mini), but mainly use the iPhone...

Do I pay $1000 for the Air just for the lighter form factor (and updated chips), or spend $99 plus tax for a replacement battery for my 15PM.
