So maybe I am just a nut but I take my iPad everywhere I go. I did the same with my first gen iPad and I am doing the same with the 2. My job required that I am in constant email reach so that is one reason but I have many others. It's my newspaper (like any other person reading the paper on the bus or train), it's my shopping list, my gaming system, it's everything!

I struck up a convo with a guy in the theater yesterday and he was surprised to see someone toting one around. It got me to thinking...

I take mine with me most places i even took it to church today and tested out a few different notes apps. I got stopped by nearly a dozen people asking questions about it :)

Waiting to get my sleeve case for it but when I do then I will take it with me pretty much everywhere.

The sheer volume that I get and the detailed responses that I have to sometimes provide make using my smartphone not practical. Before the iPad I lugged around a laptop. The iPad was my savior

I do. I actually ditched my iPhone in favor of the iPad and I take it everywhere I would normally take the iPhone. I haven't regretted it at all.

Me. I don't get this attitude people have about iPads being for home.

Now that I have the 64GB 3G iPad I take it with all the time, I even spent $60 for the incase Field Bag. I hate spending money on Cases/Bags because I rarely use/take it out like my old 16GB Wi-Fi, it either at home or in the car.

I take my 3G with unlimited data plan everywhere. I even rigged a wire on my car vents allowing my ipad to fold over and be used as a full screen navigational unit. Navigon for iPad is awesome!

I did the first few months

I have since left it in my bad and/or at home.

It is a bit too clunky for me to bring everywhere and I never got comfortable holding it in public like the iPhone

I'm a heavy user, to put it mildly (see my signature) so taking my iPad everywhere is a no brainer! I'd have it grafted to me if I could ;)

Like my iPad enough... but hoping that the tethering option for my iPhone can work out...

High volume of emails on the go requiring detailed responses SCREAM 11" MBA. I have an iPad as well ... for consumption ... for creation not ideal at all, imo.

Like my iPad enough... but not enough for the tethering option..

No tethering for me. I bought my iPad 3G 1 week after they did away with the unlimited data plan (this was the same period of time when people were having a lot of dropped calls on the iphone 4) I called AT&T to ask if they could put my new iPad on the unlimited data plan. They said they couldn't. After numerous phone calls, they finally let me do it and gave it to me!
