I'm the exact opposite, most of the time the MBA is in my school bag. I have Dropbox folder synced with my desktop PC so I usually don't need to sync up my work files.

I do bring it out whenever I need to use 2 PC's simultaneously, other than that its either charging when its out or going into my bag again.

Exactly the same as buddybd above. The MBA is my portable computer which is rarely not with me when I'm out and about.

I have a Mac Pro at my desk in the office and sync using Dropbox. Brilliant setup especially when out all day as the MBA has 6-7hr battery life.

It's been almost 5 months and 64 battery cycles here. That's it?! Well, it does get pretty darn impressive battery life. Health is at 93% though :(

I have an Air and take it everywhere. It's so light it is so easy and I love the crap out of it so much that I would never consider going back to a full bulky heavy Pro again. If you're not taking it everywhere, you might as well get a Pro for the extra power and expandability.

I have to say that I used to take my 11" MBA (2010) out of the house more often than I take the 13" MBA (mid-2011) BUT that's probably to do with increased use of the iPad and a new job which doesn't require the same processing power (on the go at least) that I needed 2-3 years ago...
