My wife has ordered the Nano Slim TR for her 5 that would replace the Glass T she had on. I have ordered the MIMI feather for my Iphone 5S as i did not feel like waiting for the NANO TR. The feather is cheaper and thinner (0.15mm) but does not have the rounded edges. I'll do a comparison between thw two when i get my hands on them.

can't wait!

I just installed my nano slim and it looks freaking awesome

Do you guys think there's a point in getting a tempered screen protector if you have AppleCare+? I mean the screen protector is $40 already, for $80 if I do shatter it I could get a new device.

Has anyone with the tr nano slim and owned the previous versions noticed that it seems to grab smudges easier? Mine wipes off well but I feel like they get on there more than any of the other ones I purchased before.

I ordered a Glas.tR Nano Slim from Amazon on Sept. 27 and received it yesterday, although Amazon is showing that the order is still "preparing for shipping."

Installation was quite easy, using the "hinge" method in a steamy bathroom to avoid dust. It took about 10 minutes from the time I opened the package, and I am very pleased with the near-perfect results. I have always used plastic film protectors, but I now prefer the appearance of glass.

It also feels slick and cool like glass. Plastic absorbs oils and gets duller over time.

So I'm not complaining because I love my nano slim, but I just noticed something today while cleaning my screen in direct sunlight.

I noticed there were microscopic swirl scratches all over the glass.

Now I always use a microfiber cloth to clean my screen, but I'm a little perplexed as to how those scratches got on there.

You can't see it in normal lighting but in direct sunlight, you can see it.

I see scratch tests online of people using knives, and Spigen says it has a 8~9H hardness, so I'm curious as to how the screen could have scratched using a microfiber cloth

Can anyone confirm this?

Just installed the Glas.tR and woks just fine with TouchID.
The fantastic thing is the oleophobic coat. It definitely avoid all the fingerprints on the screen.
The tough part, on the installation, there is always a tinny bubble on it that won't go away. But for sure looks great overall and add that layer of protection that the screen definitely needs.

I did not see anything you are describing.
When I installed mine, I kept the plastic sticker while getting away with the bubbles and dust using the cloth. Not sure if that helped avoid what you are experiencing.
If your issue is annoying, try contacting Spigen and ask for a replacement.

I got the spigen glas.t slim and it's awesome. Had it back on my iPhone 4 too back in the day. Everything works great!

I just installed the Tr Slim... Love the look of it; very clean feel. It definitely creates more "depth" to the home button, but it still reads my fingers easily- I can do half assed presses and it still picks up my print.

ok now my OCD is killing me..

I just noticed at an angle, that there are some dots (indentation) on the black screen.

I can't feel it with my fingertips, which lead me to think it's coming from the inside.

It's definitely not dust stuck from the inside.

Do you guys think this is a manufacturing defect to wear I can get a replacement?

I know that Spigen always wants pictures, but it's really hard to take photos of the defect because you can only see it at an angle, and under certain lighting.

I dont know if my iphone 5 can capture it clearly.

Do you think Spigen will tell me it's an installation error and not cover it?
Or would you not bother if you were me?

I would get the AppleCare just in case the home button or the touch ID sensor breaks down

How would it affect the finger print reader in any way? Some critical thinking could of saved you the time in making this thread.

As far as the MIME for those who have it any chipping issues? I guess at that thin it will still be covered by the leather apple case I'm using... Gonna buy one to check it out. I'm typically a bodyguardz guy but it's worth a shot.

I got my Mime Feather last week and I really like it but I have had a little bit of chipping already, one tiny chip in the top left corner and one tiny chip around the home button :-/ Really hoping it doesn't continue to get worse.

How did the chipping happen? Did you drop or bump the phone?

Who has a Spigen Glas.tR Nano Slim with their 5s? How's Touch ID working with...

Ordered mine through Amazon 2 weeks ago. Excited when it arrived yesterday. Once I opened the package I was greeted with complete disappointment. The lower left corner of the glass was broken.

So my Spigen glas tr nano slim screen protector came today. Anyone feel the nano is too thick? It fees pretty stiff in the packaging.

Have a Power Support Crystal shield on perfectly now but thinking of moving to Spigen tempered glas nano tr. Will it feel too tick?
