I can't wait for the 6 plus. I use my iphone pretty much for everything but calling so the extra real estate is much appreciated. Bring it on!

Don't worry. When you get it you will return it for a real phone....The 6.

You mean the pocket-computer with a phone feature? Nope. I don't intend to at all. If anything, the 6+ users are going straight for the main course and are confident it's going to be tasty, whilst the 6 users, such as yourself (I'm assuming?) are going for starters. Every time we're getting bigger in size and that jump is most probably going to be inevitable in the next few years, so may as well make the leap early.

No regrets. :) enjoy your 6!

look mommy. my phone is big!! good for you big boy!

I used my buddies note 3 that is 5.3 inches I beliebe , wow , so big for me at least , no way in hell I was going to work out and do my daily runs with that big of a phone , 5.5 . I'm so glad I went with the 4.7" . I'm happy : )

Who even uses a phone as a phone anyhow anymore? ;)

Not me. Pretty much the only two people I talk on the phone to are my parents and my wife. I use it as a phone to make appointments for things like plumber, car repair, etc... But that is about it. I use it more for texting, internet, media, and photos/video of my kids.

Nope. Printed out a template that someone posted on here and decided BEFORE I ordered that I wasn't going to put an iPad up to my head to make a call (more that I wasn't going to try to jam 5.5" in my already crowded jeans)

So no remorse here. I'll rock the 4.7" for a year or two until there's no small option any longer then I'll jump to the bigger when forced.

Agreed. i've been on iphone 5 for 2 years, so ready to jump up to newer model. However, size of 6+ too big for my hands/fingers.

It's kind of funny though, people laugh at how big cell phones were in the 80s, but now they want big phones. And at the rate things are going, they will soon be just as big as the phones in the 80s.

That's because back then they only did one thing, call. We wanted them smaller since we only used it for one thing. Now they are small computers in our pockets and we want more access to information, media, etc... It is easier to do that on a larger screen than a smaller one.

But yes, it does seem ironic to be heading back to the larger size. I keep having the image of Zoolander and using his micro cellphone pop into my head.

Exactly! I don't know why some people are comparing the 6 Plus to an iPad mini.

For those who preordered a 6 Plus, you have no reason to feel remorse, I mean you still haven't received it yet. I am not trying to justify a purchase I made here as I did not order an iPhone 6 Plus but I'm just trying to be reasonable here. However, I have tried a Note 3 and it has the exact same dimensions as the 6 Plus, you guys have nothing to worry about.

Good comparison.

6+ too big for me

I definitely appreciate Apple listening to the mass of people looking to get a larger iphone from the 4" iphone 5s, however i think the 6+ is too big of a device. I have been using the note 2 as my only phone for the passed 2 years (traded my iphone 5 a couple weeks after release because the screen i found too small), and i gotta say i am excited for my iphone 6. The note 2 is "the max" overall size I would consider to be "healthy". I sometimes find myself fumbling with it in bed to read one handed and taking it out of my pocket everywhere i go just cause its impractical to keep in your pocket comfortably while sitting. Taking a look at the printouts available freely on the internet and the actual dimensions, it looks that the iphone 6 + has some extra bezel making it incomprehensibly larger then the note 2. That extra size I see as a overwhelmingly large impedance on lifestyle just to carry around a phone with minimal spec improvement over the regular iphone 6. Long story short i think Apple chose a good size with 4.7" on the 6 as it seems to be the sweet spot (would have loved to get a 5" option instead *can't be too picky). I do wish to welcome you all who are finding themselves with their first phablet phone into the world of awesomeness but you may find yourself like me and find it to be a major inconvenience just for extra screen space.

Anyone nervous the phone might be too big? Thinking of canceling and getting the 4.7" earlier? Are we crazy for buying a mini iPad mini and trying to hold it to our heads to use as a phone?

I ordered the plus at 345 am. Woke up and didn't feel good about it at all. Cancelled at 7am. Got a 64gb iPhone minus! I feel much better! Didn't want to hassle of handling that beast especially while working out or running. The only extra feature I think I will miss is the dual pane iPad like functionality.

I have a note 3 and an ipad air lte and i carry them both with me all day at work and sometimes when im out and about...mainly use the note 3 for texting and calls...because even tho the screen is 5.68 inch it looks small next to my air...and looks small even next to my mini...cuz of those 2 tablets 4/3 aspct ratio. .once you guys use the iphone plus it wont look big to you .. But i wud say if yor gonna have an air or mini with you too then get the 4.7 cuz it will b much better for firing off text and making calls one handed.

Long time Android user here, this will be my first iPhone, coming from a Note 3. For all you 6+people out there that are seriously having remorse for getting a gigantic phone, I would say to cancel. A large phone is a commitment, it will stick out of your pocket, you will have a hard time doing any kind of exercise with this phone in your pocket, and checking e-mail or texts quickly while at a red light will require you to take both hands off the steering wheel.

I'm prepared for the trade offs having used and loved a gigantic screened phone. If you're ok with the above you should be good to go, if you have doubts you might want to switch.

I'm looking forward to my 6+, and the overall apple experience.
