She did her lesson plans on it. She plans on taking it to school with her to use but we also will be using it for our home business as well. Seriouly they won't come get us will they?

I mean it will be used for "educational purposes" sometimes but not other times. Is this ok?

Actually I would get my wife to get it for us without a thought but I'm sort of speaking for my wife who is extremely "by the book".

even tho im a student, you can easily get through the edu discount process without being one.. Just pick your school, and make the sure the terms apply to you ;) and presto edu discounts....Luckily I have legal access to these discounts for 2 more years, hopefully afterwards i'll actually be able to afford some of this stuff.

The physical, Apple retail stores do offer education discounts.
On hardware purchases...you DO NOT get edu discounts on software (at woodfield's apple store at least) I could have bought my 933 in store but needed to go to the online store to get several discounts on software advertised at the time i purchased my 933.

Mine says partially shipped, but it also says that my copy of Jaguar has not shipped yet, and that is all that I ordered.

Also, my credit card shows only a $5.30 shipping charge to it?? It hasn't been charged for the entire cost of $78?? Has this happened to anyone else?

Thanks,
Draft

apple is preparing to ship. so they have billed your card for the shipping costs and will bill you for jaguar as soon as it physically leaves. i received the partially shipped notice a few days ago and today got the notice that jaguar itself had shipped.

I think that you have to order it off of the web site. But, that was before the Apple stores were around.

The Apple Store at Tice's Corner doesn't offer the Education Discount in the store. You have to order it online.

I called the Apple Store Grove and they assured me that I could buy Jaguar for $69 at the store. Maybe Woodfield is different.
