I have a feeling the SE will exclusively use TSMC. Why? - The samsung runs hotter and may not suit the small bodies SE.

*EDIT. Wiki states the SE uses either a Samsung and TSMC chip.

I'm not looking, because it matters not to me. I'm enjoying my SE, and it doesn't matter which processor is in my phone. There's nothing I can do about it, other then maybe continually return the phone until I get a model that has the processor I want, and then maybe something else is wrong with it. My phone seems to be defect free, and is faster then my 6 plus. I call this a win.

How do you check, i seem to remember from the 6s that you run your battery right down, then you go into something on your phone and it will tell you, but i can't remember where that something is.

Download AX-CPU from the AppStore.

I've used these free apps...

https://itunes.apple.com/app/battery-memory-system-status/id497937231?mt=8

or

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/lirum-device-info-lite-system/id591660734?mt=8

in the past without issue.

There was a way to check in the logs, but I forgot what that was.
