I like my iMac, iPhone, and ATV--and will probably buy a MBA sometime this year. I doubt I'll look to other companies for my computer needs since I am happy with my Apple products and don't really feel like going back to a Windows machine. I can't say I'll always feel that way but for now, Apple products fit my needs just fine. :)

I used to be a real 'fanboy' as some people like to call it, but now I appreciate all tech :D

after my first MBP i have become die-hard apple. Now i have Iphone4 and 2011 MBP. and im happy with both! kinda.

Bet this post is going to get a negative rating since I mentioned PC and Android in my post

Nope, my thumbs down was just for mentioning Android. ;)

I'm not a fanboy and I want to smack those who are.

Who are you trying convience ?

I don't push Apple, but if you ask my advice, it's what I recommend. When they get something else and then ask for help, I just smile and ask if they kept the receipt. And then there was the Zune. Great idea, on paper at least. We all know how that one turned out.

I buy something because it either let's me do what I want or helps me do what I want - it just so happens that Apple computers and peripherals don't give me trouble or get in the way of the very task they're supposed to let me do.

And Consultant and KeriJane

Love their hardware (iMacs and iPods).
Like OSX, like Windows 7.
Dislike some of their methods.
Hate with the route they're going down.

So I guess I'm not a die hard Appler.

We all here about (and from) the Die Hard Applers. Whenever they get a chance they push Apple products. Whenever someone has Vista "You should get a Mac". Whenever someone brings up a piece of software it's "I hope they have it for my Mac". Computer talk? "I have a Mac. Best decision I ever made" like people care.

Now's you chance to proudly stand up and admit it.

Actually people often do care if you have a Mac. For roughly 15 years family, friends, and co-workers always turned to me for computer purchases since I work in IT (and before that I was a commissioned computer salesman back when those existed :p ). Even though I fix Windows servers and desktops for a living most people are surprised when they find I use nothing but Macs at home.

The best thing to do is find out a persons needs and see what they need as far as a system goes. If someone needs Visio, Office, Visual Studio, or to run some custom app from work that is Windows only, obviously I'd steer them towards Windows. If someone wants to do a lot with media or wants a machine they don't have to fuss with then I steer them towards Mac.

For me, even though I love Mac but I also use it out of necessity. Windows isn't capable of doing what I need so I use Mac and I love it.

How about Applephobic, since MR is majority liberal, and we all know how much they like that word.

Strong, successful company with effective management, a user-centric approach to tech, and game-changing products.

Why not, they've earned my dollar every time. Not an easy thing to do and I'm sure I speak for a lot of consumers.
