1810 mAhr? 1 GB RAM? So frickin' disappointing.

I can't go through 2 more years of charging my phone at every opportunity to make it last through the entire day and of course Safari tabs 'reloading' which is one of the most annoying things ever.

Please don't give me any crap about - "wait till the iPhone 6 is actually released before making any assumptions" - because we all know leaks have been pretty much spot on the last couple of years.

So who here is looking forward to the iPhone 6S and beyond?

I'm not looking beyond what I already have. When Apple releases the 6, I'll see if that fits my needs. If not, I'll stand pat.

We have the following phones on our plan, all out of contract in Sept. We plan to keep all of them for now. They more than serve our purpose.

So many people look to hardware to fix their problems. Have you taken the time to go through every single setting of your device? My guess is no. If you do, you will surely find things your phone is doing that you don't want or need based on your usage of your device.

I don't understand why they continue to over estimate the freaking ram also. But its always the same story. Put so so specs in the phone and it still sells like hot cakes. I don't get it.

I usually hate it when people say this, but here I go.

The iphone 6 hasn't even been announced yet!

I mean, I love speculation and all, but how on earth can you look past the 6 when we aren't sure what it will ship with?

Yeah well its to bad that capability dies out a year later. My 5S constantly reloads webpages, due to the small ram.

I don't have that issue; never had that issue so I can't comment. I know other people on this forum claim to have this issue as well.

But when and if I buy the 6 it's going to be based on what it can do, not the amount of internal ram.

You crazy!

iPhone 6S? That's a little too soon. I'm looking forward to the iPhone 10C.

Sometimes I feel like some people just say "We need more RAM" as a trend, it's the new "Steve would have never". Not saying it doesn't happen but still...

I'm afraid I'm going to say it.

Wait until the event where Apple confirm the specs for the iPhone 6.

Have you seen the updated article: https://www.macrumors.com/2014/08/18/iphone6-schematic-1gb-ram/

The iPhone probably won't have 1GB of RAM. The battery is larger and with the A8 chip, who knows, battery life may not be so bad.

Going to be more than a bit annoyed if the 4.7" really has a ~ 1800mAh battery. Each year I get more and more annoyed by Apple's refusal to give us reasonable battery life.

If the 5.5" really exists and has ~2900mAh that will be my purchase. Sure the screen is bigger but an extra 1100mAh will more than compensate for that I'm guessing.

I'm not too tied up about the 1gig RAM rumor but I am a bit surprised that Apple hasn't kept up with the times. 1gig seems very small and silly for 2014.

I'm thinking 2 gig, but regardless I will see what the new rumored phone brings to the table over the 5s and make a decision.
