Not particularly tempted to try it. Maybe when Android 5.0 comes out. For now, I'm still not entirely convinced. And even then, I'd only do it on a Nexus device.

Just a thought, HOW can you try it. I get if you switch to it instead of the iPhone 5, but not how you could have it just for a few months.
Unless so many of you are so rich you can afford to just buy it outright with no contract then sell it a few months later????

I am tempted, but I'll just wait for the next iPhone. I'm not really that familiar with Android OS anyway.

I want to try it as well but I'm willing to guess the people above who are going to try the G3 also have a gmail address that they use for there main address right?

The reason I ask is I use a number of Apple products and syncing is a pain when going outside of the ecosystem. The easy way around it I guess is to use gmail for my contacts and calendars instead of iCloud. But I'm pretty much hooked to iCloud, it's simple and easy. If there was an easier way I woud deffinetely pick up the G3 as my second device.

Nope, I don't have a gmail address. If I do, I have forgotten it. I primarily use Yahoo and Hotmail as a back up. This doesn't concern me too much. I don't mind importing my contacts as a portable address book but I don't like to give my phone too much knowledge and muscle regarding my habits and whereabouts. I am not much of a social media person. As much as possible I like my privacy.

I am assuming that I can just as easily add my yahoo/hotmail mail accounts to the phone IF I decide to get it. If I can't even do that, the hell with it LOL!

Sticking with my 4 until the new iphone. That way if im not impressed, a newer and better phone will be out(compared to SGS3)

Preordered my s3 this morning, came to 214 after taxes and upgrade charge (i had a $30 upgrade credit which essentially negated the upgrade charge). I havent been this excited for a phone since the original iphone :)

I'm pretty tempted to get one. I was just getting ready to preorder this morning, but decided to wait. Once I can see it in the store then I will decide.

I've already got my S3 on reservation for when it comes to Canada on June 20th. I'm selling my 4S to fund it, and then probably using my upgrade later on this year to get the next iPhone.

i had the Nexus from VZ then switch to the razr maxx now i am back with iPhone After all that i figured out i like simplicity and quality over bugs. The nexus built by samsung with ics had a good ui but the build quality was junk. the samsung s3 will be a different version of the nexus in my mind. so my point is the quality of the iPhone is best. Please don't get me wrong i am a droid lover but to many issues. apple keeps it simple stupid and great quality.

I just wish an Android or Windows phone would be released with really top-notch build quality and materials. Then yes, I would be tempted to at least try something else besides an iPhone as some days 4s feels a little stale and old school to me in terms of size and OS. But every Android phone I pick up and handle feels a little cheap to me and then seems laggy when I try to navigate around on it. I really like the idea of trying something else; it's just that nothing else is very appealing once I try out/handle it.

The majority of manufacturers choose to use strong, durable materials to make their phones. Apple uses metal and glass. Drop and durability tests do not work well in Apple's favor.

Actually in a lot of recent "drop test" videos between the SSG3 and iPhone4S, it seems that even with Gorilla Glass 2, Sammy takes more of a beating. Which surprised the hell out of me!!
