It was a misunderstanding on my part also. The first time I looked at your post, I didn't see the part where it mentions your private web site, so it looked a lot like those usual spam posts to me . I don't think your post was too blatant or something, just wanted to poke a little fun at you. Sorry...
By the way, the photos on your website are very nice! What kind of photography equipment do you use?
re. photo equipment - I have been using a Nikon F100 w 20mm/f2.8 WA lens, Sigma 105mm/f2.8 and Nikon 80-200mm/f2.8 lenses mostly. A lot of the newer city-photos are taken with a Dimage Xt - quite a difference in many ways. The tiny Dimage Yt is great to "always carry along", but obviously it lacks in low light, depth of view etc. compared to an analog SLR or even e digital SLR. I'm still waiting for a good replacement for my analog SLR, but I don't want to spend more than maybe $1200, a more robust Nikon D70 would be my dream right now. We'll see what the fall brings... but on a more general note I think you can take good pictures with any brand and lens combo, always depends what your preferences are.
Feel free to critique any of my designs, I'm always looking to improve. Most of them involve php at least in some capacity. All use CSS and obviously HTML. I purely handcode and think anyone who doesn't is a heathen haha j/k -- I use BBEdit7, code view of GoLive as well as the rest Adobe Creative Suite Premium...and that's about it....
This next one is hosted through dot5hosting so, surprise surprise the account was reset lol, so it isn't there right now. We are currently changing hosts...DON'T USE dot5hosting, EVER! OutdoorStudentLeadership.org
And lastly (that I care to show) we have a fake business we had to create for one of my courses -- the underlayer of the site (databases, searches etc) don't work, they just appear to work hehe.-- SonicJamz
Please view in Mozilla (and company) or Safari. Internet Explorer has a few issues displaying CSS.
Standards-compliant XHTML/CSS handcoded in BBedit Lite and pico (ok, summoning the effort to learn vi). Exception is the Photo Albums, created via .mac homepage templates.
Javascript randomly changes CSS. Hit reload a few times to see. I wrote a php script that served this purpose, then found out that .mac does not support server-side scripting. >:-(
I do a couple web sites, one for my business and an Apple site parody. I loved iLife '84 (http://woz.gs/tim/ilife84/), so I decided to do the entire Apple Site. I call it Apple '84. Check it out at http://www.geocities.com/applesite84. Right now, only the home page, mac page, design page, and support page work, but I'm working on putting up the whole Apple site.
