I've already asked for the entire day off work. My boss doesn't give a crap. Hell, I asked off a half day to watch the keynote liveblogs! Why try to follow liveblogs on a crappy 7 year old Dell laptop at work when I could come home and watch it like this:

Engadget, GDGT, and The Verge liveblogs on the monitors, and Tweetbot on my iPad

It looks like you have a trading desk setup!

No need to call in since I telecommute from my home office and am basically my own boss. I'll probably work to pass the time while waiting for my iPhone to get here. Hopefully it gets here by 3, since I usually leave at that time to pick my nieces and nephew up from school.

My company has an alternate work week that virtually everyone does: Mon-Thurs: 9 hour days, Friday: 4 hours. I'll be home by noon. It better be there or my eyes will be glued to my front window. Last year, I saw the FedEx guy eating his lunch in my neighborhood when my iPhone hadn't gotten there. I went up and asked nicely if he had it and he gave it to me. Trying not to be that crazed this year.

I just leave a note on my door for the FedEx guy. I live in a nice neighborhood and have done this for laptops, iPads, and iPhones. They stash it near my front door out of sight, so there's never been a problem.

If I get mine delivered before 9am (at home) then I will take it with me to work- otherwise I will leave sharp 5.30pm on Friday. :)

Having mine delivered at work (64, Sprint). If any issues with the phone or activation, there is a Sprint store up the street. Besides...it'll give me a good distraction from work:D.

ill be working till 3pm but my girlfriend is taking it off to sign for them. i live 2 seconds from work so if it comes early ill have her swing it by work. I always want to have these things shipped to my work but i envision some nightmare of the orders getting cancelled cause its not my billing address so i just leave it alone.

I had asked off a month in advance hoping the rumors of the 21st were correct.
