This "bendgate" is really a great social experiment. it demonstrate that fear mongering is a more effective method of spreading information than actual facts/science. Everyone knows about the Iphone 6+ "bendgate" but 99% of the population don't even know who is their congressman in their district and what they have vote for/against in the past 2 years.

Its kind of like religion.

I personally would just keep the 6 Plus, but that's just me. I'm not concerned about the bending issue and usually it's the user error when it comes to this thing. I have no reason to worry that my phone will bend, plus I have Apple Care +, so if anything, I can get it replaced.

Personally, if I had a 6 Plus – or indeed a plain 6 – on order I would cancel that order and wait a couple of months until the true extent of the problem is known.

I've got no desire to end up with a phone which needs to be handled with kid gloves.

I rode a motorcycle around all day yesterday, 6 plus in my front pocket the whole time with "slim" jeans on. No bending and I'm not going to worry about it. Enjoy the 6!

I'm returning iPad air and MacBook air. Just realized how thin they are and now I'm worried they will get bent too

Since OP has 4 iPhone 6+'s I suggest he just tries and bend one of them, if it bends take the other three back if it doesn't bend, take the other three back also and have just one phone.

Really, why do you need 4 phones?

I'm not returning mine but I can't say that I'm not paranoid about it..I don't think I've ever been this careful with a phone.

To be honest with you its one of the reasons I retured my 6 plus. I tend to wear slim jeans (not skinny jeans) quite frequently and the thought that the bending was even a possibly scared the hell out of me being a 750 dollar device and all...It was really the straw that broke the camels back though. I had been toying around with the idea of returning it for a 6 and holding my girlfriends iPhone 6 I realized I would be much happier with that size. I returned my plus last Wednesday (shipped it back to apple) and found a 6 on Saturday. Much happier. But do I think you should return your 6 plus purely for #Bendgate? Absolutely not..

+1, the whole bending issue was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. in the end, I didn't want to have to always worry about it bending in my pocket. i got the 6 instead.

No. The phone won't accidentally bend. It will only bend when you apply an absurd amount of force which is not a natural use case unless you're self-destructive in your phone upkeep.

Is it just me or is the whole word against a case? I agree that I don't think bending is an issue but its just like cracked screens or frame dents. if you are not so cautious with your phone and worried about bending it get a damn case!

Isuses with the screen get a screen protector

Yet Consumer Reports reported that the 6 bent easier than the 6+. So I don't understand your logic.

The 6 plus is a bigger device. The 6 may be more susceptible to bending but thats a non-issue considering the overall size of the device. Therefore I don't understand your response. Not to mention the fact that before any bending would have taken place with the 6 plus, I would have noticed an extreme amount of discomfort. How do I know that? Because I had the 6 plus and it was uncomfortable in my pocket as it was, and it was not bent when I returned to apple.

I was going to say the same thing. If you're worried about bending your phones, don't go from the plus to a reg 6.

BTW, if one of your phones is a SG+ 64gb, I'll take it off your hands.:D

Let's see... am I weak minded enough to return my phone over a trumped up non issue hyped by Apple's competition and supported by little to no real world evidence?

No. The answer is no.

sure there is an issue... for a minority.

if worried....just buy applecare+ and you are set.
