Who is staying up to order from Apple online tonight?

In a sense I lucked out because I am on spring break in Paris. So I just have to be up at 10 am time here to order online. So I got a nice night of sleep :)

Now I am awake with it being 9:15 am here and I am going to fantasize about my new iPad 2 :)

They probably added the functionality to do so some time ago, possibly when the website went down when they announced the ipad2 and all the ipad stuff changed on their website.

All they have to do probably is flip a switch and it will just redirect us to a new page allowing us make purchases on iPad 2 specific products

I don't remember it going down then. It definitely went down for the MBP bump, though.

That's probably because they don't actually need to take down their entire store just to add a new product to it. The only reason they ever do it is to build hype anyway.
 
Anyone ordering a smart cover with there ipad im still debating whether a light color one or the leather one arggg.

Arg. It's 2:30 here and I've been up for an hour. Crazy worried I wouldn't hear the alarm. Now I'm playing the nervous waiting game.
 
On a side note, who here thinks the online iPad 2 orders will be coming from China, or do you think that they have already been shipped stateside and are sitting at distribution centers across the country.

I am not, for a simple reason: It ain't a case. I want something that protects the ENTIRE iPad, not just the front.

I've ordered a DODOcase tonight -- won't get here until after the iPad does, but I'm OK with that. My iPad will be living on a white t-shirt on my kitchen counter until such time as I can fully armor it against nicks and scratches.
