I saw Vic Reeves in Wagamama the other day with wife and children. I thought that was pretty damn cool. I'd have loved to have said something, but a mixture of being starstruck and respecting their privacy got the better of me.

Tom Seleck and Macaulay Culkin when my wife and I went to Late Night with Conan O'Brien a couple years ago. We also went to Regis and Kelly and their guest was Charlie Sheen.

Years ago, in Pacific Palisades, we've seen a woman getting her kids out of a Mercedes. My friends claimed she was Maria Shriver. Back then, I had no idea who she was, so they had to explain to me that she was Schwarzenegger's wife.
I once was about to buy a car from some girl who were in a few episodes of 90210. She crashed the car hours before she was going to transfer it to me. At least that's what she claimed happened when she did not turn up for our appointment.
I remember seeing Gary Busey in a big expensive Mercedes in Malibu a few years later.
I have also seen Vlade Divac during a Lakers game, but our seats were so far away from the court, I don't think that counts.

My 7th grade gym teacher was Dan Majorle of Phoenix Suns + other basketball fame. **This was when he was a student at Central Michigan Univerity, he was a teaching assistant for the class for awhile.* I also met the creator of Uno. My ex's family had a chance to invest in UNO when it was nothing and they passed, but they were still friends with the dude. He had a nice white Lincoln towncar. Was an older gentleman.**
Other famous people I have been in the same room as:* Steve Jobs (WWDC 2006), Bill Cosby* (2001 Univ Cincinnati commencement - my graduation).* A girlfriend of mine had talked to Brooke Shields before when she was working as a hotel clerk on the phone.* I had another ex that talked to Christian Slater on the phone (she worked at a nursing home) and he called to talk to his grandma that stayed there. **I have run into Oscar Robinson (famous basketball) here at Montgomery Inn.* Have seen Bob Huggins before while at UC.

Billy Baldwin and Joe Pantoliano were filming at the elementary school on my college's campus today. But since their crew took up half of a parking lot, (and we already have more students and fewer parking spaces than last year) without the school officials telling us about it ahead of time, I'm not going to watch their new show out of spite.
Well, okay, I probably wasn't going to watch it anyway. I don't really care much for shows set in Providence.

I bumped into Macaulay Culkin around New Year 2000/2001 when on a late flight home from New York JFK to London Heathrow.
Met Rick Mayall (The Young Ones, Bottom, etc) when he was having a go at politics in the 80's, while he was doing some promotional work for the lib dem party. Probably still got his autograph somewhere.
Met the guys from P.O.D after a gig in London.
Happened upon Jasper Carrot while in his Mercedes driving up the Coventry road in Birmingham. I was on a motorcycle so I kept up with him for a while, waving at him like an idiot...
Met the cast of Prisoner Cell Block 'H' while they were performing in a Birmingham theatre. Accidentally insulted them, by somehow insinuating that they should have stayed in Oz. (Not sure how that happened).
Met Michael Elphick when he was trying to get some kip in his camper van outside my house. They were filming an episode of 'Boon' in one of the local corner shops. Why he didn't get a hotel the cheapskate, I'll never know.
Spoke to Rod Hull (of 'with Emu' fame). Unfortunately he was on stage at the time and probably didn't appreciate my question about his peach coloured shoes. Good for him that he knew how to deal with hecklers, and promote Marks and Spencers clothing range at the same time.
In May this year, I was on holiday in Crete, and while in the museum in Knossos the President of China appeared with his Wife and about 50 of his close friends and family members. It wasn't announced, we had no idea he was coming. I was so shocked I forgot to start shouting "FREE TIBET!!!" at him. I did remember to take some photos though.
