I am running IOS 5 beta 4 and i cant go back to IOS 4 because i cant live without iCloud. I am using iCloud for Mail, Notes, Reminders, Contacts, Calenders, Documents, Backups, Bookmarks and Find My iPhone.

How will I make the transition from Mobile Me to iCloud when it is available?

I'm not sure about the details but i think apple will convert your mobile me account into an iCloud account...Im a developer so i had to create and iCloud account becuase i didnt have a mobile me. When you sign up for iCloud they give you a me.com email address tho...

OK I do have one question, will I have to upgrade to Lion on my Mac in order to fully use IOS5 on my iPhone and iPads or will they be independent of each other?

It depends on what you will be using...If you just want to use photo stream i don't think you have to update to lion because iPhoto has an independent download. If you want to use all of the other features of iCloud i think you might have to upgrade. I took this screenshot from my developer account.

AH ok, thanks. Hope the bugs are fixed on Lion before iCloud goes live to the public, then I will upgrade. Too nervous now to upgrade.

I'm waiting to use iCloud until it is fully released with iOS5 GM.

It's too slow and buggy right now for me.

It was really buggy for me in beta 3 but beta 4 has been running better overall
