Who likes the new Mac smell?

Everyone loves a bit of new car smell! But new Macs do smell good, well my iBook G3 did, do you still get the new Mac smell?

My iBook G3 had the best smell from all my computers

Sometimes when my macbook gets hot the odor of the unwrapped Macintosh reaches my nostrils and fills them with mac goodness

the new mac smell is the most awsomest thing ive ever encounted!!! its unbelieveable. i just wish you could buy a spray of it and put it back onto ur computer/peripheral once its gone away.. maybe use it as deodorant???

I can smell it in my Macintosh Classic, a 17 year old computer. My iMac G3 puts it off too. (9 years old) I don't think it goes away. My mini and iBook's fans are too small for me to smell anything.

seeing as I bought two Macs in the last 7 months, I got addicted to that new Mac smell which stayed with the MB for quite a while (until I sold it to my dad and he got it all nasty). As for the MBP, that kept it's Mac aura for about a week, but if I lean down right above a fan and inhale, I get that "orgasMac" smell again. Oh that Mac utopia, every so often I open up my box for that sole reason.

I helped my friend get a new MB for her freshmen year at college, and when she opened it, I told her to take a whiff and she laughed. But she did comment that it had that cool smell. I wish my MBP still what it.

New car smell is a spray in most cases. That's why different brands smell slightly different. I wouldn't be surprised if Apple added a little something before the Macs leave the factory floor...

Not necessarily. I know cars are sprayed with a scent before leaving the factory but I'm not certain about Macs, I just have my suspicions.
