Ordered at about 3:05 and 3:06 am eastern (two 42mm SS BSB).

No movement. EOD emails for both. Live in PA (USA).

Not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but disappointed.

I was thinking this, too. Earlier in another thread I was replying to someone's comment, and it occurred to me that if my biggest worry right now is when my $700 watch arrives then I guess I have a pretty blessed life (sounds like many of us do). :) Yes, we will live, but I agree when you say that it's disappointing.

I'm in the US. Ordered on the later end of the 3 minute mark: XX:03:52 email confirmation. It seems that those who got the confirmation at around XX:03:30 and before in the US got charged/shipped last night.

It also seems to be different for each country, as there was a Canadian in here with XX:09 and got charged/shipped.

I never knew I'd be looking into my order time down to the second. But here I am.

The problem with this launch is the usage of the word pre-order. Typically, pre-ordering an item guarantees that you get it the day it is available. This was just an order, not a pre-order.

How are you guys getting Apple to tell you the exact time they recieved your order? I chatted with them and they said they don't have access to that.

pre·or·der
priˈôrdər/
verb
verb: pre-order
1.
order (an item of merchandise) before it is available, with the understanding that it will be shipped later.

usually pre-order just means order before the product is actually available. We just expect pre-order from apple means launch day

That's what I've concluded. I'm at xx:03:37 and haven't been charged. I believe that someone claimed to have been charged with a xx:04:xx but I lost track of it, and am not sure if it was US or Canada.

It would be great to get other responses to this post so that we could come up with a more specific cutoff time for last night's shipments.

my email confirmation came in at xx:03:11, I was charged and flipped to preparing for shipment last night.

In the US, on the east coast

If you placed an order after Friday morning then yes it's a regular order. If you ordered prior to release date it's called preorder because the product is not out. Just like when people pre-ordered the PS4. Pre-ordering something does not guarantee that you'll get it on release date.

I think that you're too use to pre-ordering software that doesn't have production constraints as actual products due to most software being released digitally.

I chatted with them this morning to find out. I just asked him what time his system shows for when my order went through.

I didn't ask Apple for mine, I just took my confirmation email, and Forwarded it. It gives the receive time to the second which is what I've been going off of

debating taking the hit and ordering one on ebay. I Know ill be paying a premium, but i know the product is in stock, and will get instant notifications about payment and shipping. btw not seeing any 42 mm stainless with bsb on eBay.. lots of white bands and a few milanese loops.

Looks like I found the reason why order hasn't went through. Confirmation email 2:04 central time.

I didn't see anyone in the US who had an :05 order say they were charged or shipped. It was before that, but some :03s today have mentioned they are waiting still. Canada, on the other hand, is in the :09s, I believe.

I'm an :05.

I'm an :05 too based in PA. Nothing.

I'm XX:03:39 and I'm still waiting.

I have to assume that those of us in the latter half of the 3 minute mark are in the next batch earmarked for the US.

I see your point

The only plane heading to Anchorage today is from Tokyo. Probably not a "watch" plane, as those come from China.

So last night's US order cutoff time was between xx:03:11 and xx:03:37. Anyone have an order that was charged in between those two times?

Umm... that seems about right. Have you read any of the last few pages? That's military time. 00:04:09 is 2:04:09 central time. The last digits are seconds.

Completely sorry, I forgot I read that last night. Thank you. Well that makes me feel better. So I'm at beginning of the :04.
