I'd venture to say a lot of die hard Apple fans were nerdy/geeky/oddball types who got pushed around in their childhood. I don't see anything wrong with them enjoying some attention for being an early adopter. It seems vein on the surface, but I'm pretty sure everyone tries to feel important in some way or another in their lives.

Again, with 322 million Americans and a small percentage getting them and if strutting around showing it off is important than I'm sure they will be able to do this for quite some time. But to constantly complain as if Apple has missed there delivery date is insane. The thread is for following info on the watch being processed. Way to much crying. If what I just said offends anyone than again I'm sorry for the logical calm thinking#
 
Yeah... I ordered April 14th so...

But I ordered a 38mm SS BSB, so hopefully that would help speed up my order.

I get where you're coming from. I think all they mean is we all want our watches and enjoy new things though. Not directed at you, but when someone acts like Apple owe's it to them over everyone else who's waiting with the same delivery-range, it appears to come across as entitled. It's unfortunate but you will still get it before most people. I'm still yet to see one in the wild

Well I absolutely don't think Apple owes me anything over anyone else. I'm in the same situation as the rest of you are. I just didn't expect to still be waiting when ordering so early...just as the rest of you. That's all.
 
Just moved to "shipped." Arrives on Tuesday. I was charged this morning, went to preparing for shipment at that time. 00:03:44 in Iowa.

I responded to what you said that you wanted to do with the watch if you had received it on Day 1. I didn't agree with your viewpoint. I thought it was rather vain. Anyway, I don't know you and you don't know me. That is the nature of the Internet. Random people getting together and discussing random issues. Don't take things so personally though on the Net. I get beat up all the time for something I said that someone doesn't like. But I love the give and take and the democratic nature of the Net. All opinions can be expressed freely. You have the right to be heard. Today, I might disagree with you but tomorrow I could be right behind you.

No, it really wasn't. You took simple comments and turned them into being vain, entitled and strut-worthy. In MY opinion, your head is quite up your A$$, and that was a much nicer way of putting it.

And I don't care if you think it's vain, because it's not. At least I didn't mean it that way in any way, shape or form. If it came across that way then it was a mistake, but the bottom line is that I'm very excited.

Someone expressing some frustration with a situation that felt slightly deceiving is considered crying? Damn. What do you call people that actually cry? :)

Yeah, I know, I've read all 255 pages of posts in this thread over the last few days. A lot of regurgitation, and a lot of the same feelings. Occasionally I catch myself thinking "oh boy, here's another one" -- and then moments later I catch myself feeling jaded and frustrated about the situation myself.

There's people here who don't care about being early -- and it's those people that have issue with people complaining the most -- because they don't have the same needs, wants, or history perhaps.

Just think about the folks who stood in line for every launch, who are facing the tough reality that they don't get to have it on the day it comes out. But I don't really expect anyone to understand the people who stand in line, because the majority of people call them freaks -- every time I've stood in line, that's what people have called us. "OMG man, why would you stand in line overnight for a phone?!? It's just a phone... FREAK!!!" as they drive by acting like morons.

We all have different perspectives. Just ignore those posts that bother you, because it doesn't help anyone to confront it. It's not like anyone is causing any harm, right? They're just letting out steam.
 
42mm ss bsb no movement on mine yet, I hope I get update later tonight or tomorrow morning when I wake tomorrow.

They will hire more cheap Chinese labor to help with that effort. Due to the population size, Apple can quickly hire mass numbers of temporary workers in days when it would take weeks in the states.

Don't worry Lenny - mine was xx:03:57 in NYC and I am still waiting also. Maybe we will both be updated overnight or at least tomorrow!

Good for you. If I could give you a hug because of not getting your watch already I would. Maybe then the rants would stop.
