Who ordered a 16g iPhone 5?

From my own experience 16gigs is not enough... I can barely cope with 32gb, but it's bearable. Today's games are very often 1-1.5gb each + add some music and you're left with not enough space. Not to mention you don't get that 16gb, but something like 14,5gb for user storage. On the other hand, if you barely play full featured games, occasionally listen to music, that 16gig might be ok. Otherwise not so much...

I'm becoming more and more happy with my 16g purchase. Maybe it will help us all learn to use different cloud storages and media streaming services to the max. A lot of people say it increase resale value... Well first of I've checked 4s sales of 16 and 32g .. There about 50 bucks apart :) and even if you do make an extra hundred bucks on it, you also spent an extra hundred bucks on it. Lol

If it wasn't for iCloud and iTunes Match, I would have ordered something bigger, but thanks to Apple I don't need to!

I plan on getting the 16GB as well. Im usually on wifi so streaming is not an issue. Wont be with LTE anyway.

I dont store music locally, I use Pandora, iHeartRadio, and Google Music (Use it on my GS2, 8500+ songs uploaded, Google needs to make an iOS GMusic app FAST!) And I use Google Drive and Dropbox for file/picture/video storage. I dont plan on getting huge games either.

Google Drive, CloudApp, SkyDrive, Dropbox, and Box.net. I think I got them all good ones covered.

Off-topic: Are there any apps to manage them all in one place? I have Google Drive, SkyDrive, Dropbox, and Box.net and would like a way to have everything in the same place.

If there is, I haven't seen it yet. I just keep all these on one screen so I can keep track of them all.

I ordered a 16GB because I stream nearly everything now (and before you ask, no, I am not unlimited). Paying the extra $5 per month with AT&T for an extra gig doesn't hit that hard, especially since I have yet to hit 4GB. :)

do any of you guys getting a 32g or 64g have a laptop or macbook? because i think that will be used as my main media device

Purchased a 64, with ~60/70GB of music+apps+pics+space for recording video it's still not enough, but what I can get for now.

Also, I find it hilarious and wildly misguided that people somehow think the cloud is a replacement for local storage...How is that working out for you on tiered data plans? Additionally, I find it offensive that carriers (and Apple) fee like it's perfectly ok to charge me to access my own media, and also does me no good when I'm in the metro, on a plane, or anywhere else without a persitant connection.

Works fine for me :0 And usually when i take the plane i take my mbp. No need to view all my media on a 4 inch screen.lol

I had an iPhone 4 16GB, filled it up with apps in the first week I bought it, but then I realised I hardly used most of them. The ones I do actually use day to day, take up maybe around 1GB max so the rest is just music/photos. I can also use my 4GB dropbox allowance if I feel I need more space.

Funny, I don't think I mentioned watching movies anywhere here

. I also take my MBP when I'm on a plane, however using it to listen to music makes about as much sense as watching a movie on my phone. And clearly, you are correct, on a plane is the only possible time you'd be without an internet connection, right?

tue, my mistake

I was also a bit concerned because I would normally stream all music etc, but I've been flying quite a bit lately and that doesn't exactly work. However, I just switched over to try Slacker and it actually lets you cache channels on your device. Between that and being able to save songs from Spotify, I'm set.

I only listen to a portion of my library at a time so 16GB is fine for me. I had a 32GB iPhone 4S and never even came close to filling it.
