I for one do not use it and would love the ability to hide it or get rid of it, wondering who else feels this way?

Haven't once used it. I voted for making it an optional app you can download from the app store if you want it. I think apple is afraid they'll have an unsuccessful app in the app store so they just make you have it.

I love it, a great way to organise and keep magazines instead of as individual apps.

The most annoying part of Newsstand is that you can't put it in a folder.

How can they have so much control over my phone that they can even tell me which apps are folderable? :(

You can't put it in a folder because itself is basically a folder.

I wouldn't know because I never use it.

Neither do I, just know from tapping on it.

Thanks for the link, I left my feedback for Apple, however I highly doubt they will do anything with my feedback

I asked for MMS, copy/paste, forwarding messages and sending messages to more than one person and all of those were added.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who asked though haha!

I use it almost every day. I read Engadget Distro, Wired, and Game Informer. I like that it keeps my subscriptions organized and up to date without me having to do anything.

Distro is neat when I'm bored.

I can see the value, but I don't subscribe, would love to hide it, more-so on iPhone!

I use it and I love it, but I agree that there should be a way to hide it for those who don't.

Options (3) Please allow me to ditch this thing, it is annoying and (5) I can not stand it, worst move Apple made forcing it on us while using different methods arrive at the same goal.

Right now I think the best solution would be an option under setup to disable Newstand. This should be under Restrictions in the General options. I think the way to have Apple consider it might be to mention it as a necessary parental restriction.

I tried it out recently, with the free Rolling Stone magazine trial thingy, and it was actually pretty nice in general. However, I don't see myself using it too much in the future. It would be nice if you could remove it or place it in another folder. This of course goes back to the issue of nested folders, which should be an option... I don't see how from a software point of view this is an issue. You can nest folders on your computer...

Read e-magazines on an iPhone? You're joking, right? I vote for letting me uninstall it.
