I for sure won't be upgrading, I don't even have the current iPhone!

I'm wondering what the iPod updates are going to be?

Shuffle, Nano, Classic, Touch?

All but the Classic were updated last year...

I'm hoping there isn't a significant update to the iPod Touch this year so I don't have to buy an new one :/

Price drops maybe?!?

Depends. If it's a new phone I "may" update. If it's 3G -> 3GS, I'll keep my iPhone 4.

The title should be "help me justify not buying the latest and greatest so I don't have to feel like I am missing out."

i love the iphone but im going for a droid bionic as my next phone

i have an ipad 1 so ill still get my ios fix and imo have the best of both worlds

having a ipad and iphone is too redundant for me, especially when the android devices are so far ahead of anything apple produces

I'm so confused myself. I don't have an iPhone 4 for myself but in my household I do and I've been waiting since January for the iPhone 5 like crazy but now I'm quite sceptical. Not saying I won't get it but I think it's got to the point where I should really consider Android for my needs.

It's really simple for me --

If the phone is still made of glass, I'm not buying. If they've redesigned the phone to use properly durable materials, I'll buy.

I don't need to keep shelling out cash to replace shattered back panels every time the phone gets knocked off a nightstand or slips out of my pocket.

I dont think we will be seeing 2 iphones. Just the the one....skinner,curved like the ipad 2, processor and camera improvements. but as far as a bigger screen i am not hearing anything at att which worries me that it will be 3.5" again

Not at all - and I certainly don't rely on strangers on a forum to justify any of my shopping behavior. But perhaps you're having some transference issues.

If you have paid multiple times to replace the glass, shouldn't you have looked at a case of some sort? I have mine in a case,have dropped it several times and no issues.
