I loved mine but then it started giving me trouble and i got tired of visiting the genius bar every other month

Classic all the way. I got an 2006 MBP and a new 2009 one. I don't really see any BIG differences. Mac is a Mac :apple:

I love the old Macbook Pro design. The keyboard feels great and doesn't get shiny over time. I wish I had the build quality of the Unibody's though. My Macbook Pro (Early 08) creaks and has dust trapped in the plastic trim and speaker grills :(

Some of the keys on my keyboard are shiny when viewed from an angle, and they feel smoother. The touchpad is also becoming shiny in the middle.

I put a SSD into my SR MBP and it rocks....
I like the newest MBP but still don't consider it as an attracting purchase. Gonna keep my current one for a while (2 more years may be :D )

Just got my MBP back from the Apple Store, damn happy, I placed it against the 15" uMBP that they had at the store, so glad I didn't wait out to buy one, the glossy screen bugged me.
