iPad mini Who's goin mini naked?

Smart Cover for now cuz that's what I have.

Real dilemma is how to carry it when out and about. I have tons of messenger bags and such but they are all way to large or the pockets in them are intended for something larger.

Very good. The cut outs and the fit are dead on. My only minor complaints are the volume controls are not cut out and don't really stick out much either. I would have preferred one way or the other as it is harder to go by feel. Also I have the Black iPad mini and the Apple logo doesn't show through as distinctly as I'd like. How are people supposed to know how cool I am? 😉

Still too bulky for the mini in my opinion. I'm going for a good sleeve when out and about but I am also looking for bumper style edge protection and maybe a cool skin just to keep the back from scratching - some kind of vinyl overlay.
 
I plan on protecting the mini the same as I have all my iPads. Smart Cover on the front. Ghost Armor skin on the back.
 
Smart cover only. All my iPad's have been naked, used for a zilllion hours, and sold in perfect nick for a high price.

Nope...I'm all black and naked...just hoping scuffgate doesn't happen. I had it in public last night and it got a lot of attention.

Any skins available for the back yet anywhere?
 
Smart covers only on the mini, back is nice to touch, the full size MaxiPads have switcheasy canvas cases, good but bulky.
 
I'm heading out to the mall today, hopefully the ghost armor can slap something on my mini and also the apple store has some back protection. Given the iPhone 5 scuffgate issue, I'm not taking any chances with my baby 🙂
 
I'd like to get the same back case that I have for my 3. It is clear, super thin and it locks the Smart Cover hinge to the iPad. Got it from Incipio but have not seen one from the for the mini yet that does this.
 
I go naked with all my apple stuff🙂

Cases just ruin the looks. And I will get new ones every few years anyway.
 
I find the Smart Cover is huge for keeping the screen clean. Just the passive movement of the inside does a decent job of knocking down some of the fingerprints and smudges.. Naked on the back though..
 
Smart Cover+front shield (SGP or PS) and sticker boy back for me when available. I'll take the Smart Cover off while using at home. I like the weight of the mini, no reason to ruin it.

The case pictured in the Amazon listing is for the google nexus. The case for the iPad mini comes out on Nov 25, so I imagine they will likely put up some pictures now that the mini is officially out.

I placed my order based on all the good reviews of the same case for the Nexus. The funny thing is that the release date actually says 2013, which I assume is a mistake, lol. Oh well, worst case scenario, I'm out 5 bucks.
 
I use the smart cover also, but I'm not impressed with its style. I want something a little more artsy or literary looking for my mini. I am thinking about getting this Men's Case from Etsy, for travel purposes:
 
I returned my Smart Cover today. Just couldn't get it past my head that $40 for a piece of plastic/cloth only covers the screen. Heck, it's not even great for drop protection.
 
I got the red smart cover and love how it looks with the black. So no case for me. Maybe I'll make a sleeve to carry it inside my purse. I had been thinking to get or make a suede jacket for it, but now believe that wouldn't go on and off easily over the smart cover. So a loosely fitting sleeve with a flap instead, lined with a very lightweight batting in between the layers.
 
I ordered a waterfield slip case and will use that to transport it and go naked while in use. No need to add bulk to it.

No seriously, I try to sound more natural and upbeat. A losing battle, I know.
