Who's going to camp outside for the latest iPhone 6S? I'm going to try but I work from 11AM-9PM at Best Buy Mobile on the launch date and that's only if it launches on the 18th. Either way I still work the 19th. Hopefully I can stay up since I'm going to be activating phones all day. If you are going to camp out. Post which phone you'll get and where you'll be camping out.

I've been told that where I live the nearest store most likely won't have all night queues. I'll be leaving work at 2am, showering and getting changed and then driving over for a 3am arrival. If the person I spoke to in the Apple store is correct then I should be one of the first few there. Leicester, UK.

I won't criticize another person's idea of fun, but I'm not going to camp out and I won't even stand in a long line. I'm gonna try to order online when I would wake up normally. That probably means at least a 4 week wait but whatever.

OP,enjoy your wait in line. It will be fun,at least to do one time. Who in the hell cares what others do and what's on their bucket list. (Which BTW is a moronic term that came into being due to an awful movie. Imagine if someone had to come up a phrase in the place of bucket list. Would it be a "to do" list. Or is that not hip enough?)

Pre-order for me. I work at AT&T so I'll be getting into work around 5:30 or 6 on launch. I'll just have the phone delivered to my location

I've done the line up before for both the iPhone 5 and iPad 3. Enjoyed it both times, you get to meet like minded people who share a love for Apple products. Enjoy and have fun!

Hey I work at best buy mobile, too. :p I requested off the 18th (I hope that's when it's gonna be released). I'll try to pre-order, but I need to buy it outright ( I have a concession line with VrZ) if I'm not able to, then I'll have to wait in line.

I waited in line for the 5s, and I actually had a fun time. But I pre-ordered the 6 Plus on the Apple Store app, and I received it on launch day. I'm definitely going to stick with the pre-order route for the 6s.

Will definitely be camping out overnight at the apple store. Love the camaraderie and fun times meeting people in line. Besides, who am I kidding Apple already has my money for the 6S+ 128GB. :D

What does it say about the undeniable success of a product that there are people preparing to sleep outside a store just to get one before they've even seen it? I don't what it would take for Apple to ever be in fiscal danger at this point.

A smooth running AT&T site???? Have you ordered from the AT&T site before?
Yes I have and most recently with the 6,it went live several minutes before it was scheduled to. So many of us were able to buy up to 7 crucial minutes before other sites came online. And of course our delivery place was secure ahead of so many others.
Next.

The 5s was the last launch day for me. Unlike your experience, thanks to some idiots in line, mine was horrible.
I'm hoping that this pre order event goes more smoothly than the one for Apple Watch not too long ago.
On the positive side I'm sure that lessons were learned from that.

I've never seen the fascination or had the urge to camp out for a device but if it's your thing go for it!

I'm lazy, hate sleeping on shopping centre floors and prefer preordering through my phone or computer :)

No, I prefer not waiting in line, sleeping in line for a phone. No device is worth it especially when you can just pre-order it online.

I'm not one of those that needs to be the very first to have the latest phone to show off to my friends.

You can have a really good experience with the camping depending on where you are. I camped out for the 5S in NC and went out there around 3am and met some cool strangers that were in line. They were all tech junkies like me so that made for interesting conversation until the Verizon store opened up. I'm thinking the Apple Store camp out is a whole different beast.

You do realize that preorders always run out with the first few minutes.

I got in line at noon last year and was 23rd in line. Cool folks except for the ones jumping line. I spoke with everyone in front of me to get a count. Watched ESPN all night on someone's laptop.
