Who's gonna try to get one the 11th?

I'm probably going to check out the Best Buy in York first but if I can't get it I'll probably be at the Apple store around 3, 3:30. Really wish there were a closer Apple store.

Having waited for almost a year for this device, a few more days won't make a difference to me. I REFUSE to wait in line and be part of the media spectacle that Apple is striving for. Remember, they learned their lesson on pre-orders with the Verizon iphone 4: no big lines, no thousands of screaming buyer holding the device high in the air like they just won an Olympic Gold Medal.
In fact, the media reported no big lines...which is not what Apple wants.
So I will get on line (not IN line!), place my order for a 32gb wifi white iPad2 and when i arrives, it arrives.

i'm going to be at my local target just before 5 pm next friday (assuming they have it). if not, i'll skip the lines and wait a little bit.
I guess I will be one of the poor saps waiting in lines for one of these since there is no preorder option that delivers to you on launch date. I was going to try one of the apple stores in the smaller towns in the area I live but I am wondering if they're supply will be enough. Most likely I will go to the apple store in san francisco and hopefully pick up a white 32gb ipad
I agree- York needs to get on that. I didn't hear Best Buy was having them?? Their stock will probably be minimal though and all of the York turds will be waiting there early.

Yeah I figure I will take a vacation day. I don't know what to expect even going at noon. I hate lines and never camp or do this. However, I have wanted one of these for a while and want it the day it comes out. So I guess I can stand or sit for 5 hours. I would just be at work anyways. LOL!
When I stood in line for the iPhone, 3G, and 3GS, I had really good conversations with the surrounding people. I like to talk to people, and they seemed very enthusiastic with talking to complete strangers too.
The people I chatted with varied from business men, fathers, mothers, and children. Everyone was accounted for, and everyone had their own opinions on it.

I'm gonna try Best Buy after work (if they sell at 5pm). If it's lunch time, I'll go at lunch time.
I have $220 dollars in BB Gift Cards. Can't pass that up... Although, if I'm forced to, I'm forced to.

I'll just put in a order the apple online store on the 11th like I did last year. I won't get it launch day or the first week obviously, but I'm patient so I can wait until the 2nd shipment.

I think waiting for your new toy is a much better way to spend a Friday than at work ha. Plus it gives us a cool story to tell....to anyone that actually cares.

.Ugh. No offense, but this is exactly the reason why I will not be waiting in line. For the first iPad, waiting in line with headphones on and my eyes straight down on my iphone, the lonely bastard in line behind me didn't get the point that I was not there to make a new friend. But that's just me, I'm an *******.
it depends on if Best Buy will let me buy one or not... if they will then I will get it there, if not I will switch shifts with someone so I can go wait at an apple store.

I am glad that it is a Friday! And 5PM? SWEET! I can go after school without a problem. I can't wait to get one.. =D
I'm gonna hit up Best Buy in Orange, CA to see if they have it first at like 12PM... If not then gonna head over to the Apple Store at Los Cerritos Mall at 2PM. I'm so stoked!!
