I will be, but I'm not sure where, yet. I live 5 minutes from Apple, Walmart, Target and Best Buy.

This morning, I was high enough in line to have gotten a ticket at the closest Apple store but they only had WiFi, and only 16/32g, so I left.

The WiFi at my job sucks, so I want the 3g, AT&T. I work 8pm-4am, so an early line up doesn't bother me, I just don't want to go to the wrong store. I plan on checking Target's stock online tonight, and perhaps hubby and I will split between there and Apple.

I don't even know if any 3g store shipments have come in since Launch day. Yikes.

That's what I've been hearing

In terms of getting a 3G, I've heard most people have better luck at Target than at Apple Stores. As for me, all the Targets, Walmarts, ATT stores and Best Buys are sold out, so Apple is the only option, and why I'm on the fence about waiting in line when I finally have the chance next week. a 5 hour wait only to have to say no would be rather unsatisfying, to put it mildly.

200+ people in line at the Walden Galleria in Buffalo this morning. I was about 20th, arriving at 6AM. The employees came out at 8AM to announce they have everything in stock except AT&T 3G models. I walked away––holding out for the Canadian release next Friday.

Hopefully this dies down by next Thursday. Thats the only morning i have off to go to the Apple Store. Walden Galleria is such a pain in the ass.

Trust me I am all over it. Nothing in my area, will check again tonight and in the morning before I head to the Apple store.

Trust me its same here at this Target in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. They got 3 on Wednesday. Nothing today, will check again Monday, Wednesday next. They all seem to get very small shipments.
Apple store in Cincinnati got only 30 and 20 on Tuesday and Wednesday???:(

Somerset in Troy, MI has been getting them in every day. I got there about 2 hours before they opened this morning and was probably 40 back with another 50 or more behind me eventually.

Today they got all VZ models and all wifi models, the guy two in front of me got the last one for the day. I might try agian tomorrow. The Apple guys were saying they have been getting in between 30-75 a day.

Posting from the line at Irvine, CA Apple store. They haven't opened yet and about 40 people in front of me, will post how it goes later...

No luck. I didn't realize it when I arrived but people had been waiting since 2am and they handed out tix at 7:30am. Already have one but was hoping for a second for a friend... oh well.

OK guys, off to bed. Up at 5:30am in hopes of finally getting one. Wish me luck. If you are going to the Nashua NH store tomorrow I will be wearing a green Celtics hat if you want to say hi.

I hope you were lucky. How long where the lines and how much stock did they get?

Hey I'm planning on hitting up the Spectrum next week to try and get my hands on one. So the procedure was people lined up around 2 am then they handed out tickets at 7:30 am? Thanks for the help :)

Went to the Emeryville, CA Apple Store this morning. Around 70 people by 8:15am, at which point the staff announced that there weren't any iPads. Nevertheless 40 people chose to stay behind, mostly young Asians who apparently knew each other.

I went to the Lenox Square Apple Store in Atlanta, GA where they did receive a shipment today.

The bad part about it was out of the 30 employees in the store and the 3 manning the entrance, no one bothered to tell the 50+ people standing in line that they received not quite that many.

They could have said something about the quantity so people could have left or gone somewhere else. A lot of people were pissed at the lack of courtesy to the customer.
