Mine has been preparing for shipment since Thursday night
Seems strange as they normally have been shipping out the next day after preparation. I've been tracking it and it seems that more people who went into preparing for shipment towards the end of last week are all having the same issues as you. Maybe they have been affected from the release in other countries. IM confident you will get a tracking number today. It also seems like shipping is progressively getting worse. From phones idle-ing In customs forever, to processing times getting longer and longer as well as the time preparing for shipment!! FML if i would of only ordered my phone on the 20th vs 24th I would of had the phone last week. I wish I would of know 4 days would of prolonged the arrival by two weeks vs 4 days.
One of my phones went from being in Korea on Saturday night to being in Louisville on Sunday afternoon. The other one is now in Korea but if it follows the first phones path it should be in Louisville by tomorrow.
UPS says each will be delivered on Wednesday and Thursday. Apple says one will be delivered on Thursday and the other on next Monday. Considering I live in Lexington, Ky, I am fairly certain I will have them this week. If UPS doesn't screw up.
Yea dude but you had to of ordered somewhere other than apple. Unless you ordered from the Apple Store don't expect anything this month. On launch day att told me if I ordered through them I wouldn't get my plus until around thanksgiving.

Yay!! # Apple just charged my card and changed my status to preparing for shipping. Hoping i have a tracking by tomorrow. It almost feels like I'm swimming to the surface from the ocean floor while holding my breath. The closer my phone gets to Delivery, the closer i get to being able to hold it in my hands and the more anxious I get, the more time seems to slow down. If only I could portal through a black hole and come out 6 days later. Lol
I bought the 6 Plus Space gray 64GB on (9/26). Last weekend I called Verizon to see what the status of my order. The Rep told me it will be shipping a week before thanksgiving. I told her that I'm nkt waiting that long and to cancel my order. I took a leap of faith and visited my local Apple Store on Friday. I got lucky. They had only one space gray iPhone 6 Plus 128GB, bought it without thinking. I'm not disappointed. Hopefully other Users can be lucky at their local Apple Store.

ahhhh im going crazy, people who ordered around my time and shortly after (for the same space gray 64gb) are shipping or getting theirs already. IM DYING!!!!!!!! lol and mine has been preparing for shipment for 26 days lol

Ordered my 6+ G128GB from Apple on 9/25. They finally charged my card earlier today at 12pm EST and my order status is officially "Preparing for Shipment." Hopefully all of you that ordered during the same week will see some results very soon.

"A mechanical failure has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible. / Your delivery has been rescheduled for the next business day."
What's crazy is that this was posted BEFORE it arrived in Louisville!
My expected delivery date went from 10/23 to 'not available'. I was really hoping to see this having departed Louisville by this morning or at least an update for expected delivery date. Nada! Ugghh....I want my 6 plus!
Ordered a 6+ 64gb space grey (sprint) in store on 9/14. Don't have any clue when it's coming I usually call the store or stop by from time to time and still nothing. Very frustrating thought about canceling and getting my refund i paid retail price for it.
