I have nothing new to add to the lists that have already been given except to say that K-Fed should never enter the biz. If he does I may have to pull my hair out. Ugh!
Wasn't his bankroll err I mean wife in some bad movie a few years back? I saw some snippet in the news about he was going to be on CSI or something next season. Didn't read the article though; I don't care for CSI.

You mean like Tori Spelling or Paris Hilton? I know they're not actors, per se, but I'd vote for them on the worst actress list. :D
If it weren't for who her father is I'm guessing Tori Spelling would be in a park somewhere right now trying to make the rent money.

It doesn't fit with my above criteria, but you can add Pierce Brosnan to the list too.

I thought he was good in 'Tin Cup'.

Maybe he just needs to play washed-up ol' has-beens ;)

the upside of anger was quite good, i thought

i think norton's great. hanks is ok, but overrated.

affleck sucks. big time

nicholas cage sucks, even though i like con air and didn't mind snake eyes/face off

i love ferrell, though i can see how people get tired of his schtick. but that's not "bad acting" per se...

hard to blame some of the acting on the actors, and not the writing/directing... but yeah.

i think brad pitt is one of the better actors out there too.

I thought Dances with Wolves was his only good role, really.

What about Field of Dreams or No Way Out? Anyhoo, I'd have to say the worst actor for me is Vin Diesel.

His only good performance was as Pink in Dazed and Confused.

In the UK, it is sexist to call someone an "actress", it is only actor.

Is it? Blimey, I never heard that. I call lady-actors actresses all the time. I kind of figured that's what they were... Oh well, I'll bear that in mind.

Me neither. It appears that we've been committing a social faux pas for years :p

That's news to me, too – I'd never heard of it being a problem. The BAFTAs have awards for 'Best Actress' not 'Best Actor (Female)', after all.

Still, to get back on topic – I could quite cheerfully smack Jim Carrey around the head with a cricket bat.

I nearly choked on a mouthful of Diet Coke just then. And it's all your fault!! :D

Sigh... I guess I better start pulling....

I used to think the same thing since all he did were stupid James Bond movies, Mrs. Doubtfire, etc. But then I saw The Matador and my opinion completely changed. It's sort of a quirky movie, but I thought it was really good and it was the first movie I saw where Pierce Brosnan was actually given a chance to act. He pulled it of. I thought he was very good in it, and the movie was unexpectedly very enjoyable.

Vince Vaughn Gawd. It's actually quite hard trying to think of rubbish actors. Robert Patrick sometimes annoys me.

OT: What do you guys think of Robin Williams and Tim Allen? I love them!

How about, "Best Actor Who Turned Into A Bad Actor"?

That would have to be Scott Bakula.

Amazing in Quantum Leap. But what happened in Enterprise? I'm used to any of the Star Trek spinoffs having a tight first year, but then they get better. The Enterprise actors just got worse.

Hugh Grant...Guy makes me want to barf.....
I'll see your Hugh Grant and raise you one Gwyneth Paltrow. They both only have one look. Hugh always looks befuddled and Gwyneth always looks worried with a furrowed forehead. Bugs the crap out of me.

Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher have a new movie coming out - jeebus - what a waste of celluloid that's going to be. I must admit I did see Waterworld in the theatre - only because it was 109° F and the prospect of 3 hours of air conditioning sounded great.

Seagal? So bad he's good to me - just for the camp factor. Can't stand more than a few minutes though. There was once an all 80s cover night at a local club. One of the bands was called "A Flock of Steven Seagals." They all dressed up in Seagal's mountain man shaman gear but had Flock of Seagulls hair. Brilliant. Makes me want to hear Seagal's "blues" band.

If Gene Simmons or Madonna haven't shown up in here, yet, here's two thumbs down for both.

I'll have to second that. I gave the show a shot during it's first season, when there were a few compelling episodes, but they completely lost me during the second season. It sucked. Shame, too...

I really liked Pierce Brosnan in The Fourth Protocol (1987). Pretty good movie...Michael Caine stars in it. Worth a look.

Ha!

I was looking over his film credits at imdb and was like "woah, he sucked in that one."

Great minds...:D

But to be fair to Ed Norton, there wasn't much to like in The Italian Job anyway. ;)

actually, if any of you have ever seen Shattered Glass, Hayden Christensen was really good in that. Isn't quite fair to judge him by his performance in the Star Wars films. Those movies made a lot of good actors look like crap...

But he wasn't good in Shattered Glass either. :p Likely went to the Keanu Reeves "School for Children Who Can't Act Good".

Russell Crowe in all of his movies

This guy sucks...his music sucks too....I would wish he would try to fight me...slug him one.

Go watch The Insider with him and Al Pacino. He was Oscar-winner worthy in that movie.

In fact, many people believe that the only reason he won an Oscar for Gladiator is because he clearly deserved the win for The Insider, but didn't get it. So he got one for Gladiator really because he was owed an Oscar.

On the other hand, Joaquin Phoenix was so incredible in Gladiator, but didn't get recognized. I mean, I was totally convinced that he wanted to sleep with his sister in that movie. ;)

yea, I kinda felt that way too. I guess he lost to Kevin Spacey that year, right? Which is understandable in a way. Spacey was freakin' great in "American Beauty"

Ben Affleck definitely! Any rapper who tries to make the cross over to acting except for Ice-T who is still pretty stiff but has gotten better. Oh, and Kurt "Sticky" Jones. It is paifull to watch him as Blade. Actually the entire series is painfull to watch.
